My best friends is friends with my ex's friends. She was before I met him and who am I to tell her to talk to, Anyway she was at a party where my ex was and apparently he was talking about me alot, calling me a *****. He ended the relationship. We are 21 years old, when people ask me, I say it did not work out, why cant I receive the same treatment?

Yes. He is childish. He's just trying to make you mad. Act like it doesn't bother you. Or just get another man and make him mad. Plus, your friend, must like the guy. I've been in that situation before. And you do have a right to tell her who to talk to if she's your friend. She should know not to talk to him. Its either him or you. Her choice. You don't need to be punished like this. Your better than both of them.

You are 21 and you said it in your first word, he has never grown up his immaturity shows so others see it and since they aren't dating they shrug it off. He can call you what he wants, and when others say he is calling you that you grow up and say Uh ya I know that is why we broke up due to his immaturity and unable to handle a relationship like an adult...... OW you just said a mouthful that lands him in the bad boat and then you don't have to confront him, and you keep your maturity intact and your friends will say Uh ya we see that in him... He can't let it go so you say yup that's just like him.

but the killing with kindness..i don't think that would work so well. he calls you a ***** in front of your friends and you act nice to him?! come on, i mean like. i bet he knows that you know he called you a *****, plus being your back. then again, no use showing him your anger--that what he wants.

The kindness that you are killing him with is working because he has to validate himself by talking bad about you but what he doesn't realize is that he's only making himself look bad. He's just upset and doesn't want to see you with someone better than him. You go girl.

my childish ex was crule to me after we broke up, and he is in prison now for murder nothing to brag about there.
