there is this person who is interested in me but its on the down low. im interested in this person .. but this persons car doesnt fit my standards or job. sounds horrible to write but the background i came from is something i dont ever want to go back to.... should i give it a try or just keep my standards?

I haven't seen this girl in just a little under 2 years, and I just saw her for the first time a few weeks ago. Ever since that day, all I can think about is her. No matter what I'm doing, all I can think about is her. I couldn't get her out of my mind even if I tried. I want to ask her out, but I don't want to blow it or do anything to screw up what could be a wonderful relationship. What should I do?

P.S. I am 16 and don't quite have a job yet. I am half black and the girl I like is white. We are both Christians. I look exactly like i do in my avatar. I think she is the most beautiful girl in the world and I would honestly feel dead if I knew I couldn't be with her. If you answer this question, answer with detail and sympathy. give me advice that you would give to your best friend.

My husband and I love each other, but I don't think we're IN love anymore. We've been married for 2½ years, we're 25 and we have a one year old. We just seem to have grown apart, and after some counseling and hours and hours of talking, we realize that we're just drifting apart.. we don't even have sex anymore, yet I can't stand the thought of my son growing up without his parents together. I know that it's not going to be any more beneficial to him for us to fight all the time, either. So, we're thinking about living together, and just sort of being friends. We're not considering an open marriage, I couldn't do that, but I just don't know what to do/expect. We want to raise our son together, he's only one, and neither of us can stand the thought of missing even a single day with him. Has anyone else been in this situation and had a decent outcome? I just don't know what to do anymore.. I feel like he's my roomate already, might as well stop pretending, right

I was married for about a year. we were together for about 6. We have 2 children. Things ended poorly and suddenly. He became frustrated, unhappy and ultimately abusive emotionally and then physically towards the girls and myself. I am living in my own now with our children after leaving our home and have not seen him since he was arrested. I am unbeliveably happy to have our children, but for some reason I still miss him and kind've wish hed get some help and that we could work things out. I know this is unhealthy and I know that this is beacuase he is a huge part of my life and i love him. but what do i do?? I am happy to be away from the abuse and that we are safe. God i wish the counselling list wasnt so damn long lol. any ideas???

My grandma was more like a mom. The doctor told her she had cancer three years ago...the night my mom told me I fell asleep cryin with her.2 years later I was spendin the night with my cousin (like sister & practically lived there). We were on myspace when her older brother comes downstair & answers the phone...its my grandpa (at his hose where i lived) & a silent conversation happens I asm william (older cousin) if hes ok...he said grandma died...me & mindy (girl cousin) go upstair and cry....the next day was Mindys b-day party.I cry most of the time...we get home & my bro is crying (first time i ever see him cry) & I go to mindys room...me and my bro moved into my cousins house without going to our granparents houe.

I still cry at night. Is it normal...or am I over dramatic?

it is on the back of my neck, it is the red emblem that looks like this *.. an astris.. anyway my question is is that I am 36, married 14 years, 4 kids.. the oldest is 18 youngest is 6...anyway, is it stupid for a girl my age to get a tattoo of the chili peppers??? I went out with her for about 3 weeks then dumped her. I went out with her because she was hot and i didn't really think of the consequences. Once I got over my lust for her It just got boring. Everything even hanging out with her became a chore to me At that point I knew I made a mistake in making her my girlfrined instead of just a friend. I told her this and she was furious. She stopped talking to me and whenever I saw on college campus she would just give me this very cold stare. I'd try to call her and she'd call me an ****** and not give me any legitimate reason why she was acting the way she was. I still kind of get where she was comming from, but then she started finding any girl I went out with and telling her bad things about me. She is ruining my reputation at college. Half the girls I talk too now know bad things about me already!!! What should I do?

I went on business trip and a female coworker of mine was leaning up on me with her arm around me. While we are going through a divorce and its far from over, my husband is busy hunting for gals on every matrimonial and dating sites. And guess what ? He lies about being divorced, living in a lavish out (where i live and he is out), talks about his lovign dog (who has been with me for 2 years and he cares a damn about) and uses all the pictures on these sites that I took of him with my baby dog.
I am mad . GGRRRRRR.

I really don't understand how someone could treat me so cruel he seemed to be a match for me no arguments took me out and paid everytime opened doors for me went out of his way to do things then just dumped me out of the blue usally I'm strong but this time I feel broken down the way he did it was so cold I just kept my cool and stayed polite though and told him that I wish him well and he didn't even want to say goodbye he said I'll call you later I said there's no reason for you to call me later and he said I wish you well and hung up. this guy first told me about a whole bunch of restaurants that are good and then said in case i ever wanted to go to one. then he didn't talk to me for a couple of weeks. then he asked if i wanted to work on an assignment for a class together, so we did and he asked where i sat in class and then the next class he sat beside me. then he asked me if i ever wanted to play racquetball with him, but then i saw that on facebook he's in a racquetball club and he wrote "i'll play with anyone, just message me". so i'm not sure if he likes me or is just trying to make friends with anyone and everyone. oh, and we're both in our 3rd year of uni so we're 20 years old. oh, i may be reading too much into this, but when we were in the lounge together, there was no room on the couch i was sitting on so he sat on a diff couch, but then when the pple on my couch left he got up and looked out the window and then sat on my couch way on the other side, but then he leaned over on his elbow towards me.

Everything's all set for the marriage to go forth between a man and a woman. Her dowry has been set. Her family pays the dowry. She marries this man who says he'll accept her until she dies. Then they have sex on their wedding night or whenever they feel they're ready. Now, his parents, accepted money from her parents so they could wed, and have relations. Doesn't that make him a hooker? I'm getting remarried next week and my gf is very excited about being a stepmom to my 8 yr old son. The problem is my exwife who is possessive of our son and very jealous of my gf.She has already been a problem with my gf's involment with our son and its only going to get worse once we get married. I have joint custody with my exwife and see my son every other day and have to deal with my ex often. I really want to take the high road with my ex(for my sons sake) so whats the best way to handle my gf becoming my son's new stepmom without making waves with my exwife? Been married 5 years, We have no kids which is good. But these were the flaws:

1. He hasn't made much income the past two years
2. He believes he's more valuable than being a W-2 employee
3. His mom is psycho

Let me further explain each flaw:
1. He was in the navy so he does know how to work. The agreement we had when he got out was that i would work while he started his real estate investment company. But for two years he's barely made anything and I'm struggling to pay our bills. And he KNOWS how frustrated I am

2. I've told him to get a job but he won't because he said he's worth more than $15 an hour. He hasn't tried hard to look for a job because he's so devoted to his slow progressing business

3. His mom forced us to have a wedding celebration to show off to her friends and get money. I asked him if I had to go through with it because I was uncomfortable and he said i had to. He is a servant to her before a husband to me

So I want a divorce. What do you think?

okay.my dad is an alcoholic and i want to try to get him to stop.
he's made soo many promises and broke them soo many times.my mom,his mom,me,and my grandma have tried to get him to stop.so i know counciling is out of the question.he comes home drunk about 3 times mon.-thurs. and he stays drunk friday and saturday.every sunday he takes me out to the mall or movies as a ''sorry''.what should i do to try to get him to stop.asking wont help.i also brought up that i want him and my mom to divorce because he drinks so bad.that didn't work.what will?please help me.i love my dad and i dont want to see him get hurt for drunk driving or something stupid he might do.

You would think that ugly people would be more pleasant and nicer to compensate for their ugliness, but it's the total opposite. They are very rude and ill-mannered.

It's usually the good looking people who are friendly and polite.

I work at Best Buy and I deal with all types of customers. What I notice is that the rude, obnoxious customers are usually fat or ugly. Not just when I'm working, but elsewhere too. Ugly people would rarely hold doors open for other.

Why do you think they act that way? Lack of self-esteem?

My daughter and her best friend(who are 13) have spent practically every day the last year together. This last few months she feels her friend is starting to pull away and want to be with others without her. I understand this because I would get tired of being with one person everyday. They do spend time in groups together but they are both there. My daughter is worried that her friend will find another "best" friend. I try to tell her if that is the kind of friend she is then she deserves better. I am thinking I should never have allowed them to spend sooo much time together. Any advice?

My 20-year-old brother has been seeing a girl that is 28 and has two kids. He told me things about her that I don't approve of (that no normal person would approve of). She's a Wiccan for one thing and does witchcraft. For another she's into other "weird" things if you know what I mean. But what worried me the most is that she's into self-mutilation. But for the sake of our relationship I bit my tongue and kept my opinion to myself. He came home last night with big scratch marks on his arm. I asked where the scratches came from and he told me he had done them himself. That's when I just lost it. I didn't say anything then but later I tried to peacefully confront him about what he done. He got angry with me and told me he hated me and that he had always hated me for a long time. Me and my husband also have a two-year-old that I am concerned about him being around. I told my bro that he couldn't be alone with his nephew anymore until he improved his behavior. I just don't know what 2 d0.
