it is on the back of my neck, it is the red emblem that looks like this *.. an astris.. anyway my question is is that I am 36, married 14 years, 4 kids.. the oldest is 18 youngest is 6...anyway, is it stupid for a girl my age to get a tattoo of the chili peppers??? I am so crazy when it comes to them,, I feel like a 16 year old the way I love them... is it an old lady trying to be young? or is it accepted nowadays.

Hey there my friend. I was thinking about typing something huge and drawn out with a ton of detail about this question, but I decided to make it a little simpler than that. A tattoo is not a picture, nor a work of art, it’s a feeling of self expression and the beauty within, it’s you and that’s that. I am 19 years old and I’m covered with tattoos. I have over 30 and I’m working on covering my whole torso within the next two years. I have been called a freak, a loser, a weirdo, and put down many many times by my family. But I don’t do drugs, drink, smoke, party, nor represent myself in any way but the way I am and the way I feel about myself in this world. You are NOT a bad person if you have tattoos, I don’t see myself as a bad person because I have them, and I mean I’m Agnostic but not a bad person. I would go out on a limb for a stranger or a bum if need be. I also own my own recording studio and have a paid staff to run it for me, and I’m only 19. My mother didn’t pay for it, nor did anybody else, it was a dream that I had, stuck to, and fulfilled right out of high school. I am a guitarist in a band and worship John Frusciante, and lordy behold if I don’t have a good portion of my left arm tattooed in dedication to the band. I worship the guys, and the fact that you do as well as a 36 year old married mom of four blows me away. You are my hero, lol. Well that about sums this ramble up. So if you would please come to Toledo, Ohio and adopt me that would be awesome and fine with me, haha. NO WAY!!! I am a 40 yr old woman I love RHCP and would consider getting the asterisk tattoo! we are just cool like that

It's alright. Sometimes you just gotta live. Don't regret. It's no sin what you have done. Just be happy. I am not saying you overdo it but it's alright to get something for once and add to your good memories. Something to sit and think about when you get older and reflect on life.

it's not crazy. do you FEEL like you are trying to be young? no? then do whatever you want, within reason. if you feel THAT strongly about the band, then great. it's done. there is no use in "rethinking" a tattoo.

i wouldn't have gotten it...i mean the chili peppers are cool, but when you go to PTA meetings, all the other mothers will be whispering about you...and i don't know, i think you'll end up regretting it : (
but if you do, there are always turtlenecks you can wear.

no way never old! my mom and i never got tattoos so we spend time together myself i got first tattoo when i was 19 year old, my mom got her tattoo when she was 44 years old so its not crazy & its look cool!
