I really don't understand how someone could treat me so cruel he seemed to be a match for me no arguments took me out and paid everytime opened doors for me went out of his way to do things then just dumped me out of the blue usally I'm strong but this time I feel broken down the way he did it was so cold I just kept my cool and stayed polite though and told him that I wish him well and he didn't even want to say goodbye he said I'll call you later I said there's no reason for you to call me later and he said I wish you well and hung up. Any men have any advice as to how to prevent this in the future

you never know what it is that turns a man off.

it could be your breath.

Your lack of experience in bed

your sweetness to sweet

lack of mental challenge

he tried hard because of an intial attraction but just couldn't make him like you the way he'd hoped.

Hun, it could be a whole host of reasons and I assure you there is one or many otherwise you'd be happy together today.

But don't fret because eventually you will find someone who loves a particular thing about you so much that everything else going on with you does not matter.

You know if I was bothered that much I would wait for sometime and call him.

If he doesn't answer his phone then leave a message saying he left something at your place.

When he calls to ask what it is say " MY broken heart" Then kinda laugh and say ..."seriously thank you for calling me back I have a really important question to ask you and I promise I am only asking this to help me in the future.

What happened? Did I do something or was my breath too bad? It's cool just tell me the truth so I can possibly learn from it."

Well i will simplest talk from my revel in and from what i have discovered with different women my age (19), men harm women extra. SO routinely me and my peers have cried into the wee hours of the morning in combination over what a man has performed to us. For illustration, say he cares approximately us and likes us, he does stuff with us then breaks up announcing he are not able to devote simply on the factor whilst now we have fallen for him. It's merciless and bloodless. Then the following day we see him with a further lady and he pretends we do not exist...that hurts. What you might have defined is an AWFUL factor for a girl to do however i suppose it is plenty rarer than the sort of heartache guys reason us.

Men only hurt you as bad as you let them. When you're in a relationship ... open your eyes and look at things from all perspectives and don't trust so easily.
And if you honestly look back and say you were blindsighted by the break up and there was nothing that clued you in on an eventual problem, then the issue is his and you just need to move on.

I'm sure they don't hurt you on purpose. Stop feeling sorry for yourself! people get dumped all the time. Maybe he was offended that he had to pay for everything. that is so sexist! It's not the guy's responsibility t pay for everything. Obviously, you just weren't what he was looking for, and once he got to know you he began to understand that you two weren't right for each other. It happens! So get over it. He obviously hurt you because he wasn't willing to sacrifice his life and his happiness so you wouldn't get your feelings hurt. Put yourself in his position: If you were dating someone, and they were super into you but you knew you just weren't right for each other and you fell "out of love," would you stay with someone you didn't like just so as not to hurt his feelings? Of course not, no normal, sane person would do this. Get over your breakup, you'll find someone who is right for you and live happily ever after.

There's no way to say how you can actually prevent it, unless I knew the type of guy he was.

I would say , next time, keep the guard up.. I dont know why he broke up with you.. Either you put out, and thats all he wanted or what.

Keep me updated, tell me more! .. I would love to help you

Sorry girl...that this happened. But it's not too bad at all. There are people that get dumped, cheated on, beat up by people they love everyday. Someone very special will come along, trust me.

Next time ask for an explanation. With out that, it is left up in the air why it happened. Sorry you feel hurt. Feel better.

Becos you let him to. & please don't use "Men" cos it was just one guy. Move on.

From now to the future, live your life to the fullest and meet guys that share the same goals in your life. Don't just think love is all about feelings, its about working together to enrich your lover and your own live.

No one promise you a rose garden, but if you want a rose garden, please work for it, plant a good seed and take good care of it. You be fine.
