I just started online dating. People keep saying i dont think you should do it that way it isnt safe!! But are you any safer if you go about meeting people in bars, church, supermarkets,or whatever other traditional way you choose to meet people. The 1st date is never safe i dont care how you 2 met. the only disadvantage u have when u meet them online is that u dont really know how they look!! I can meet some1 at a party, store, mall what ever that dosent make it any more safer the only thing you honestly can be sure of is how he looks !!!

He's 55 (really) and has had I lost count how many strokes. We always have been close as in talked often, but didn't see each other often, and we live in the same city. Now it's like I allot him a certain amount of time, and I feel guilty when I leave. I know that he understands that I have my own life, work, habits, family and all, but I still feel like I'm just giving him his 2 hours every so often, and then I don't go at all to avoid that feeling, and it cycles from there. Last time I saw him he said (jokingly) "What are you doing here? It isn't a holiday or anything." I love my dad very much, and want to see him more, but go or not, there's either of two different kinds of guilt feelings attached to it.
Thanks all!

My son is 16 but acts alot younger. Diag, in 3rd grade with ADHD. Has been in therapy numerous times due to sexual abuse (that happened when he was 5.)
He spent a year (in 14 out at 15) at a christian youth academy for his defiant and rude behavior, and low self esteem issues...we have never been able to trust him on the computer EVER so we took it.
My husband and I keep our computers locked because of this.... but the times he has managed to get on the internet he ALWAYS looks at gay porn.
We have talked to him about this and he said that he wishes he looked like some of these guys and that is all it is. I do understand that every teen male goes through different things as they are becoming an adult, but I am beginning to worry. He does great in school, in honor classes and yet when he gets home he trys to act like the parent.
I am in the process of trying to get him help with another resident program, because as a parent I don't know what else to do... how did I fail him.

Since we have been together-4&1/2 years in total, married for 1-we've had one of those "happily ever after" stories. We've had off days, or days where we don't get along as well-but we've never been much of a fighting/yelling couple. However, the past month has been very off. His parents split about 9months ago and are living in different houses. He says that he had more faith in our relationship when they were together because they are two VERY different people. My husband and I don't have a TON in common, kind of like them...The last month, he hasn't called or answered my calls(our work schedules are diff, he's mornings-i'm evenings, and so we would normally call at different times to check up), he has stayed on his computer as an avid WOW player, and not wanted to do anything with me. To top that:he's not sure if he wants kids,I KNOW i do. I can't be married to someone that doesn't seem to want me around-but don't know if it will blow over & go back to being him. Do i stay or do i go

left him and the marriage 8 months ago, and he takes her back does this mean he is needy or still loves her in spite of the fact that he says hes not sure if he loves her. Shes back from travelling after leaving him hi and dry and wants to continue the relationship. He talks about them getting different bank accounts and waiting for her to "freak out" at any moment. I think shes using him to pay off her travelling debts and get herself organized with her everyday life and then she may leave him again. How fair is that? He is so wanting to be in a relationship with someone - anyone -, even a married woman he met in a club. He seems blind to the fact that his ex may disappear. do guys not have this in the back of their minds; the trust issue? Will his ex coming back work for him?

I dated a guy about 4 years ago for about 5 months. We only had sex twice in that time. He was older than me (about 18 years) and I quickly decided the relationship wasn't right for me. But, after 4 years, he still calls me at least twice a month. He still tells me that he loves me and wants us to get back together. I haven't initiated contact with him since I broke things off 4 years ago. I'm in another relationship now with someone I think I could marry. I don't want anything to do with this man, but he won't take NO for an answer. He rides by my house. He calls me at work. He calls my cell phone and blocks his number. I've changed my number more than once, but he always manages to get it somehow. I don't know what else I can do to make him understand that it is OVER between us and that I DON'T LOVE HIM! What else can I do? I really need some good advice.

I am a very good woman, I was married and took care of my husband at home for 5 years, he was paralyzed from the neck down and on life support. Even though he was in the bed like that, he was verbally abusive there was times when I thought he didn't appreciate me I never had an affair on him and I gave up 5 years of my life for him now he has passed away 2 yrs. ago. I am seeing my childhood sweetheart I know he loves me but he is so lazy he can't work he has pins in both ankles and doctors said he might not be able to work. I am from a town where it is very hard to get a job(Morgan City Louisiana) and the men here can only get jobs in the shipyard, women can only get jobs in a fast food pace or a grocery store, or gas station.I travel 45 min to the next town just to work in the hospital. Just once I would love to get flowers (roses) and a man to say it will be okay. I am 36 and never recieved flowers.

Im pissed at this guy im kinda seeing and i dont know if i should be or not.

he has a cousin who hates me.
and tells him all these lies about me; saying im too emotional and mean and get aggravated really easily.

and the whole time he is telling me its not true. but to me it doesnt matter cuz he isnt defending me or nothing. He is just listening to what she is saying and then telling me.

And the thing is; she doesnt even know me. Like ive met her twice. and she only talked to me for like 10 minutes the first time i met her.

DO i have a right to be mad?

I just finished an emotonal holiday with a guy friend that once used to be so promising for future relationship, yet ended 2 days ago. Due to the long distance reality, and he is still not sure what he really wants with me, and he thinks that he is not so sentimentally invlved with me, although he cares a lot about me. Now I am so scared how I can cope with my new work and learn neaw skills there. I have not got new friends at my new work place yet, and suddenly everything in the worls started looking very daunting. How can I pick myself up again? What is the best way to concentrate on work without feeling like crying and doing nothing?

I doubt if I love my husband, he says he does, but his insecure questions sometimes make me feel like he does not. If I leave him how will I find someone else? I want to be with someone where we both should truly love each other...what should I do?

When I had sex for the first time when I was 23, yes 23 - no nastyness please, I was really dissapointed - I remember actually doing it and thinking ' is this what all the fuss is about'

I was into some very advanced masturbation techniques before I actually had sex.

Was anybody else - guys - dissapointed??

My husband and I have been separated for 2 months. We still talk to each other, but it seems more strained the longer we go. He says he "doesn't know" what he wants. We have agreed to try marriage counseling. I'd like to hear if anyone out there had good or bad experiences with it. Thanks.

okay well i love my boyfriend to death and we have been together for a long time, we've been growing up together and i can say we're inseperable, im only 17 though and im turning 18 next year, he is turning 17 and wants to get married. one part of me thinks its stupid because we're too young but the other part tells me it's okay that we'll make it, we're well off with money and if we do get married and move out we already have a place to go, but im still thinkin should i? or should i just wait until i graduate frm college? i know it's always better to wait but at the same time idk. i guess i just want some opinions.

ps im not thinking of starting a family yet. just marriage..
