I am wondering if it is okay with the administration for me to get involved with a teacher at a community college? I keep hearing that it is allowable as long as I am not dating him at the same time that I am his student. However, is it TECHNACHILY OKAY BUT SERIOUSLY FROWNED UPON BY THE ADMINISTRATION? There is this [SINGLE!!!] teacher who I talk to sometimes. I AM NOT IN HIS CLASS!!! However, it has been a year since we met and he has not asked me out. Could it be because he is WORRIED about getting in trouble?

NOTE: I AM NOT IN HIS CLASS!!! HE IS SINGLE!!! WE OFTEN CHAT!!!

If anyone has any stories or examples that they could share, I would really appreaciate it. I want to know if I am wasting my time waiting for him to ask me out.

Thank you for whatever you can do for me.

If you found yourself all of a sudden, married with 2 dogs, but without kids, without a job, in a new area, so without friends, what would you do all day? This is also assuming you didnt need money, so there was no need at all to get a job. Really, what would you do all day?!

They have never met face to face. She swears that she is in love. She will wait till he is 18 for them to date.Does this sound like she is way too naive or that he just a real smooth talker or possibly someone older trying to bait her. She also says this guy understands her and they have alot in common. I say WTF!!!

Guy A called woman B stupid for unknown reasons. Then he disappeared without any promises. Woman B continued praying, waiting for his Prince Charming (man C). Now that man C is here, going to marry woman B, guy A appeared out of nowhere, claiming that he loves her and he has been watching her closely. He told her that he has been working hard to earn enough money so that he can marry her. Woman B is speechless and she doesn't know whether to trust guy A. Guy A is now having a 'fight' with man C for woman B. Should woman B say something or does she just let both the men decide who wins? And one final question, will you ever hurt the one you love?

I have this boyfriend that i really care about weve been going out for almost 8months now..
and im in my early teenage years
so i understand if people think were too young to be in a realtionship for that long...but id give up flirting and dating around just for him.

but the thing is, everything was great,
my parents trusted me, they let me go to the movies with him and over to his house..once.
and he was allowed over and we could go alot of places!

but then...
his parents friends saw us walking and kissing..
and they told his parents
and then i HAD to tell my mom
at first she seemed cool with it like yes i made a mistake but she wasnt going to make us break up.

but then the next day...she said i couldnt go anywhere with him anymore
just our house and school.

its been 3months since then and i have good grades and she still wont let us go anywhere...
what do i do?

I am 24 year old female.

I am in college with a year left.

Full time student and I work 30 hours a week.

I also take care of her and I only get 1 day a week off
I take her shopping, talk to her everyday etc.

I recently lost 40 pounds.

But she always finds a way to tell me that I am not doing enough. When I tell her this semester I am getting A's and
B's, she asks me why I am not getting all A's. She is always
accusing me of drinking at night when she is asleep. She ALWAYS usto accuse me of sh*t I didn't do when I was a kid. I was always mature and had a paying job since I was 11.

She refers to me as "almost 30" when I was 16 she would refer to me as "almost 20" I don't know why she is always trying to make me sound like I am in a worser position then I am. I AM REALLY TRYING TO STRIGHTEN MY LIFE AND TAKING THE LSATS IN FEBUARY.

I look a lot like my father and I know she hates him. But WHAT IS HER F%CKING PROBLEM!!! I AM MATURE, I HAVE ALWAYS HAD GOOD JUDGEMENT, LV ME ALONE!!!

If you have a boyfriend and its a long distance relationship -[not that that matters'].. and you hang out with someone you havent seen in like two years and out of no where your friend you were hanging out with just kisses you.. and keeps kissing you at random moments throughout the night................. is that defined as cheating in a relationship.

think about the woman they left behind in a relationship that never really got off the ground, because of other commitments? Or do they just move on with no thought of the past. Especially when there was no final "goodbye", just "we'll talk again soon".

My ex girlfriend is over me, but she said I can call her when ever if I want to talk. We were in a long distance relationship after only 2 months of dating. I didn't trust her for some reason even though she gave me no reason not to, and she knew this so she broke it off. She is at college now and probably wouldn't have time for a relationship anyway. I'm going to still meet girls and stuff like that, but when she comes back next summer, I want to try to win her back. I figured if I talked to her every month or so and just kept in touch, and tried to rebuild some relationship after what happened, if we were both single in the summer, she'd think about it. She was really something special and I want to show her that I changed, because I will be working on making myself a better person while she is away at school. Is this crazy?

Yesica and i have been really good friends and in the beginning i was like on the fence on asking her out but then I made the mistake of asking another girl out and that's when i realized that i really did like Yesica. After i asked out the other girl, i noticed that she got sad and i kinda knew she had a thing for me but after this incident, she kinda got a little over me and i really am sorry and very regretful for asking the wrong girl out. Now we've talked about and she did confess that she "liked" me back then and I told her that I did too, but that was it. Any other person would think that thats it for me, but then again we are still good frineds and there was on night where we were actually holding hands. And there are many night s where we talk alot. And then she's always trying to make me jealous. Ive already asked her to prom and she accepted. But she always makes it seem like she feels nothing for me. I wanna tell her how i feel but i can't for some reason. It's killing me!

Can you actually stop loving someone or do you just ignore the feelings you have, put the past behind you and move on with your life?

There was no abuse, no cheating, no fighting...things just didn't work out due to circumstances beyond your control.

I have 3 small children, I am in the middle of a move across the country by myself my husband is deployed unfortunatly and I go to school full time (working on my masters)so to say the least I am a little stressed. I rarely drink (twice a year MAYBE)and if I do its maybe a small cup or 1 beer, if that, I want to take a shot of liquor which I know will help my stress tonight and calm me, but I feel bad....why?...I know realisticly that I am not neglecting my kids (they are in bed) but the last few days have been soooo stressful and I have absolutely no friends to confidentially confide in......no i wont take medication or do any drugs... so please dont recommend that.

I am personal fan of not using pick up lines and not doing anything really clever to introduce myself. I usually just try to look for a conversation starter and work from there. For example, say were at the book store and I notice the girl is open to me....I will say soemthing about the fact were in the same suject area or just a simple hi (then work from there).

My question is, what works best? What do you women really like?

3 years back I married a nice woman. At that time I supported her for her career in every way I could (I changed few jobs even shifted to a new country for her). Today I find myself only giving and not receiving back anything! The problem is that she's very obsessed with her career (which is yet to start!). I'm fine with all that provided it is balanced. I was recently disillusioned when she unilaterally decided and joined a school (4000 miles away) completely ignoring how I felt. I still didn't want to blow it up and yet again got a new job in her city so we could stay together. But before moving there I asked her these questions:
1) Do you realize you were wrong in what you did? (She says she was right, though it could've been handled better)
2) What can you live without - your husband or the career? (Answer is awaited; 3 days gone.)
A woman for whom I've been trying to do my best needs so long to decide if she values me more than the materialistic things! I'm not sure what to do
