go because she's your family and no matter how much you despise her she will always be your sister. Just make sure you take someone with you so ya don't go crazy!

Okay I have the opposite problem. I have a sister that I dont get along with whom I dont want at MY wedding. I guess we both have to suck it up and do the right thing. After all family is family and it is not necessarily just the sister we are hurting, but mothers and other family.
Do the right thing. Go along. Take a date. Enjoy the meal and the free alcohol....and give her a really crappy present...lol

yes - especially if it's a local wedding. Give up the ill feelings for a day, go and be supportive of your sister. Give her a hug and kiss on the cheek and tell her how beautiful she looks.

as much as you may not get along with her, she is still your sister and you should go. if you dont you will end regretting it. you never know what kind of relationship you will have in 10 yrs you maybe really close and it will be something that will cause a little tension between you. i just got married and my husband brother didnt come because he had a fight with his parents. my husband will never forgive him for that and it has made things very unconfortable.
i really think you should go

Is the wedding close by or far away?
Do you have other things you need to get done that day?
Go if you want, don't go if you don't want to.
Its silly to ask us since we do not know her.

If she invite you, you need to go. It is for your sister good sake, why don't you forget all your feelings and just wish her the best for the marriage.
She would appreciate that.
