First thing i know what you are talking about my ex-wife tried the same crap on me. My lawyer acted the same way as yours like his job was done now go away. So first thing i did was to document every failed attempt to see my kids and everytime she cancelled or obstructed my visitation rights. After you get enough proof (i had about 6 times before i pursued) then find a different lawyer if you can afford it and get them to present that to the judge on the basis of violation of a court order. I dont know your full situation but in my case it proved her to be irresponsible according to the judge and awarded me custody, other things he noted he could do was find her in contempt of a court order and other things i cant remember. So my best advice is words are hearsay but documentation is prooof in court. Good luck to ya.

Get another lawyer. Your ex mother in law has no right to try and set up other visitation. She can see her grandchildren when they're with her daughter. You can get an injuction against her for harrassment as well. But it's very important that you get another attorney that will do what they're paid to do. You don't have to put up with this harrassment from your ex's mom. Good luck hun.

Start off by getting new lawyer. She's suppose to do her job, that's what you pay her for. Tell you ex mother-in-law to mind her own business. You have orders from a judge about what to do so listen to the judge.

It looks to me as if you are the problem.

Why do you resent your ex MIL seeing her grandchildren?

Seems you want to "shut her down" because of her getting involved in child support payments you make.

Is she trying to keep you honest?

Plus your lawyer would know if ex MIL was out of order. You criticize her because she wont jump to your bidding. Seems like everyone else is at fault - & not you.

Yeah, sure........

Get a new lawyer. You are paying her to help you and you need to make sure that she does that. If not, find one that will. I cannot answer your other questions because I live in another state.

Maybe she loves her grandchildren and simply is distraught and wants to see them, have you ever thought about simply letting her.
