How important would her income be if you were considering her for a wife? Would it be okay if she earned a salary of ~$36,000? What would be considered not enough income for the partnership to be considered equal?

i have never dated or been kiss, and some guys i will never like have asked me out.

i am 5'2, med. brown hair, thin,kind light brown eyes, great style.
i am witty, no the smartest person out there, i have many close friends, loviable i guess,wierd? confeident, trust worthy, i love music. i make good friends with alot of guys.

He broke up with me about 2 months ago. Said we faught too much and I was too jealous. (He was just as jealous)Anyways, we didn't talk to each other at all for about 2 weeks. Then he started calling to see how I was. He told me he wanted to be friends. I didn't want to lose him completely so I said yes. But everytime we talk he just tell me that the guy I'm talkng to is no good for me. Then I can't help but want to know info about his new girl. THen one night I called hime and told him I wanted to hook up. I know it was stupid but I thought it would be the last time for him to come back to me. I was soo sad afterwords..I know I had it coming. After that I told him I couldnt be friends with him anymore. Cuz it was too hard for me. Plus he would give me some mixed signals all the time. He would call me and want me to go over..saying he didnt want to do anything sexual, he just wanted me to stay over..and sounded like he was crying. And he would say he still loves me.I would ask him if he felt sad like that why couldnt we be together, and his reply is always cuz he needs to 'realize' things, and see where his heart takes him. I guess Either with this new girl or me. Sorry for rambling. My question i guess is, is how long did it take you to FINALLY get over your ex? I was with him for over a year...so I guess those of u that were together for over a year and got dumped??

So I im falling for my organic chem professor. Im 19 and hes 35. I think he is so hot and hes really smart. Everytime I see him i get all nervous and my heartbeat gets faster. I was at his office today and we were just both flirting all day. When he was talking to me he would hold my hand and just looks into my eyes. You dont find that too much anymore. Anyways, I cant stop thinking about him. Im about to join his research team. Does it matter if hes older than me? Should I go for it? I really really like this guy alot.
Additional Details:
Since the first day of class I noticed he made ALOT of eye contact with me. After the first time I went to his office he asks me If i will be visiting him after the class sessions.. AND NO hes not married or seeing anyone.

My sister asked me to go with her. It's a college thing. You go to Ecuador, volunteer for 2 weeks and have fun for 2 weeks. When I heard about this I didn't even think about it I wanted to go. It just made me so excited. I want to do more in life then watch tv. This is chance of a life time, to experience some thing so out of the ordinary. I hope to lean a lot. We going to be helping building schools for child and planting some trees. So many other things as will. The trip is 3,000 dollar plus plane ticket. My boyfriend says I can go but he thinks it's a completely waste of money. He said"If I was going to use 3,000 dollars I would buy something I could say a year from now I still use. I bought my car, I bought my TV etc. for less then 3,000 total. You didn't sat for five years you wanted to go to Ecuador. It just like you heard your still was going, oh I want to go too. I would not spend that much money for a trip. You go and come back with few picture and call it a day. You get nothin

Am I wrong to like....?
I have my girlfriend, give it that she is huge, but my question is, I can't seem to stop having random sex with other females. Included street girls, hookers, red light houses, internet, myspace, chat, and phone sex...I can't get enough. Is this why my girlfriend is 300 lbs, or am I just being me? Everyone always talks about how they just need to be themselfs, and how society should respect them for the way they are. I.E. Gays, Goths, Motorheads, geeks, druggies, hippies, bi-sex, tri-sex, qaud-sex. People who enjoy animals, and that strange society in America that thinks children should be able to consent to sex...So before you answer to harsh to my question, think about these people first................Thanks.

so, i've liked this guy for about a month. i haven't liked anyone in a pretty long time so it was kind of a shock to me. anyway, i was really falling hard and we've gotten really close and flirtatious, but all of a sudden he's been driving me crazy! like, he's way too sensitive, and he can get kind of clingy and annoying, and all of the reasons why i liked him in the first place just don't seem important anymore. is this just a poor match for me or am i just getting too blind by the negatives?

I have a friend who I've known since high school. From the beginning we were polar opposites: she was the bold, street-smart butterfly while I was the shy, book-smart loner. Though we were so different, our respect for one another (and at times our desire to be one another) kept us good friends all those years.

But now that we've gone separate paths in life, I feel like our differences are breaking us apart. Specifically, it's my friend's lack of respect for my choices in life---my choice to focus on college, to abstain from sexual relationships, to avoid drinking & smoking, and work towards my career goals.

I've never been spontaneous or a "party girl", but I have no problem respecting those who are. But is it wrong for me to expect the same from my friend? It's like every time we talk, she is trying to mold me--as if there is something wrong with being smart and structured.

I tried talking to her zillions of times, but she never changes. Should I end it for good this time?

divorce senario: my friend has been seperated and in the divorce process for 2 years now. it's coming down to the wire here in a couple of weeks. his lawyer asked her to bring all of her financial papers for the past 2 years. so he just found out she quit her job so she would have $0 income when she got to court. she's trying to take him for everything and he's scared. the saddest thing is when they were married he adopted her daughter (which she had previous and the father didn't stay around). he's taken that responsibility and remained in her life and pays non-court ordered child support for her, $600 a month. i feel bad that he's been so generous and now his ex is trying to take him for everything...have you been through a divorce? if so...how likely is it that he will get "robbed"?
FYI
she left and came back several times before he changed the locks! now she is shacked up with her new bf which gives him suspicion of cheating!

I have been married for 8 years I have been with him for 12 yrs off and on he has been on drugs off and on during our relationship and in and out of prison. While he was in prison I started a relationship with another man. I left that man to be back with my husband because of the children. I'm 27 years old and I'm proudly saving myself for marriage. I'm dating a really nice guy who loves me and we have been dating for quite some time now. When we first starting dating I made it clear that I was saving myself and he said he understood but lately he keeps trying to get me to sleep with him and keeps telling me I don't really love him since I won't sleep with him. I would like to decorate our main bathroom, but it is also our children's bathroom (one door connects to their bedroom). The kids are 4 and 1 years old so I didn't want something too mature in that bathroom just because it is also a guest bathroom nor do I want to use some Disney theme. My brother is 43 and I am 37......as long as I remember he has been very abusive.I have tried to stay away from him as much as I could but he always finds a way to give me a hard time....last year i had a baby and i was so happy , he is not married and got very jealous....the way he knows well is to wind my parents up against me......4 years ago I invited him to my house for lunch and that was when we bought a new house...he came in and was aggressively intimidating us about everything in the house.....7 years ago when I passed all the exams and finally started to work again he was up tight and would go around my parents and would tell them how bad and inefficient I was in my work place and etc etc....at the end I felt it was not a good adiea to let him know anything about my life because he always compares himself with me and gets unhappy....I asked my parents not to tell him anything about me and just tried to hide away to stay away from trouble but he tortures my elderly parents .

I don't know what the deal is but over the last 8 months my mom has become increasingly emotional..I am 19 and I go to University in a city about 30 miles from my house so its about 45 minutes on the expressway every other morning when i leave she crys..and says johnathan i love you..i love you baby... have a goodday and she starts just sobbing uncontrollably... and then when i get home she asks about my day and i tell her whatever and then when i mention this girl im seeing she just starts sobbing uncontrollably again and she gets mad at me.... and just all the time she crys for no reason...today i was playing my guitar and she goes..I remember when you were alittle boy always strumming away on your first guitar..CRYS again and i have to calm her down... i tryed talking about it with my father and he told me just to let it go and comfort her but i cant it pisses me off that she cant control herself...
