I would like to decorate our main bathroom, but it is also our children's bathroom (one door connects to their bedroom). The kids are 4 and 1 years old so I didn't want something too mature in that bathroom just because it is also a guest bathroom nor do I want to use some Disney theme. I wanted a "sea life" theme, but brightly colored. Would people be offended if I put things on the registry that they thought was for my kids only?

Not at all.
I'd be happy to purchase whatever you needed as long as you remember the person who gifted it to you whenever you see it!
Or -- ask for gift cards and use it for decorating where you need.

Some probably will be offended (like with anything else), but for the most part I don't think people will mind. A registry is meant for things you want and need, so I say go for it. Your kids are apart of the family too. When my boyfriends cousin got married, my mom bought her a bathroom set off of her registry for her son, I think mainly because she thought it was cute (safari themed).

In my opinion a wedding registry is for things you and your soon to be husband want and if you want decor for kids/guest bathroom then put it on the list..

A wedding registry is usually for stuff for your house. If you have kids, then put the bathroom stuff on there, it's a room you would otherwise have to furnish yourself. OR maybe just don't put the kiddy stuff on there, do all the sea life stuff thats just plain and could be adult or child. Me myself i'd think you were thoughtful to include your kids and not just yourself.

The whole point of a registry is to let people know what you would like to have in your home. I think on my registry i put new sheets and bedspread for my daughter's bedroom and new pictures/decorations for my stepdaughters bedroom. I wouldn't be offended.

I marry my sweetie in 12 days!!!! WoooooooHooooooo!!

They don't need to know that the stuff is for your kids. Your guests might think you're a bit strange that's all. Is there a way to get a Disney registry?

i imagine in the adventure that they are belongings you would possibly want to sign up on your man or woman bathing room, nice. a bath mat, towels, bathe curtain are all perfect products on a wedding ceremony registry, the actual incontrovertible truth that those might want to correctly be pink or have spongebob on it makes no vast difference. For the bedroom, sheets, blankets, or laundry basket might want to be nice. To branch out of your question slightly, such issues as a school backpack, bath toys, bean bag chair, or wall decals does no longer be perfect. only my opinion, i imagine registries are for installation the residing house, meaning the basics. puppy toys and laptops are outdoors the scope of registries. nonetheless i understand diverse human beings disagree on that.

your wedding registry is for things you need to estabilsh your new home. Things for the bathroom are perfectly acceptable to put on this list. If someone has a problem with one of the gifts your requesting, they can get you someting else.

I would... not put "children" items on the registry. Chances are you are going to get several gift certificates for the store you registered at... use those to purchase those items. I just married and we combined families... so a registry was very difficult for me. I registered for the towels and washcloths for the hall bath...

I would probably just put the towels for that bathroom on your registry...usually the stores where you're registered will give you a discount to buy other things...so just buy those other accessories yourself (also, i noticed a lot of people will give gift cards to where you're registered, so you can take that into account!)
