i hate my stretch marks im 15 i know its because im really curvy an i have em on my hips an legs its not just like little ones theres tons of em i think im pretty but when ever i see them i feel so ugly an im so self concious about it i just wanna know if guys really think theyre ugly i was thinkin they might an yea i just wanna know

Why does the stretch marks matter? Don't lower your self esteem for NO GUY! God made you to be beautiful --stretch marks or not. Try putting some coco butter on it every day it suppose to lighten the stretch marks in time. I have many also but do I care Nope! I am beautiful no matter what! I want you to think like that too.

They certainly aren't the most beautiful things, but just take what you've got and make yourself think that you are pretty. I also don't care for my stretch marks and well for the least to say I have them covering the majority of my body along with some nasty incisions from several surgeries I've had.

about 70% of teenage girls and 90% of pregnant women get stretch marks. people get stretch marks from rapid weight gain or loss, change in hormones, and because of genetics.
if it makes you feel any better, newer stretch marks (ones that are still raised or pink/red in color) are easier to get rid of than older ones. although older marks fade in time and become less noticeable.
like many others have said, don't worry about what other guys think about em because the right will see pass what's superficial.
don't feel so down on yourself. 8)

Not true [to the guy saying it *only* occurs with weight]. Stretch marks can occur if you are growing too fast (teenage years). "They are frequently aggravated by rapid growth, pregnancy, hormones and some other natural causes." I have never been overweight and I have 2 or so on my lower back that are horizontal. I have talked with my dermatologist about it, and they cannot offer any cures. They did, however, recommend buying lotion specially for stretch marks to decrease their appearance. Talk to your doctor, and read up on the following sources I have provided. Good luck!

Your stretch marks are beautiful, and if you think it's unsightly now, wait one day til you give birth to your first little angel.
These marks are just a sign of womanhood.
Be proud and hold your head high, if anyone puts you down or questions them, they are way too immature for you to be around and you should get away from them.

hey introducing... guy. You don't get stretch marks from being 100 lbs over weight. I barely weigh 100 pounds and I have them. So don't answer you retard about things you obviously don't know about, and put people down. You can get them if you grow really fast. Some people get them when they growing tall fast. Tons of people thin and not get stretch marks. i have them around my legs, luckily in a not so noticeable place. I hate them...but soon they will fade to white. Try not to worry about it! =]

Stretch marks are a part of many people these days. They aren't necessarily ugly, but they may be slightly unappealing. Just try to cover them up but don't get too worried about them. I'm sure you look fine.

I have stretch marks too, its because I gained about 30 lbs really really fast. I know a guy who is popular who is always showing his stretch marks off, maybe its because he is weird... lol... but don't let your stretch marks bother you! Who cares... if your not showing them off then no one will no you have them, and when someone knows you have them, it'll be a situation where he loves you and won't care!
