I'm 27 years old and I'm proudly saving myself for marriage. I'm dating a really nice guy who loves me and we have been dating for quite some time now. When we first starting dating I made it clear that I was saving myself and he said he understood but lately he keeps trying to get me to sleep with him and keeps telling me I don't really love him since I won't sleep with him. Everytime I turn him down he says that but it's not true I love him but I want to wait and now it seems like he doesn't understand that. What should I do? How do I deal with this?

Once you lose your virginity, you cannot get it back. Sleeping with him won't automatically ensure an ever-lasting monogamous relationship in marraige - things could change, and you will have lost something very valuable to you (your virginity) for nothing.

Here's what you need to do: Tell him that if he truley loves you, he will respect your wish to save your purity for the wedding night. If he still keeps pressuring you after you've told him the aforesaid, it's proof that he doesn't truely love you.

P.S. I'm also saving my virginity for the wedding night. Good luck!

Let him know that when two people are deeply inlove, it's not just about having sex. Love is being there for one another, caring for each other through better and worse. Trust is the main thing each relationship needs. So again, let him know that if he really loves you, then he'll wait for the right moment. He shouldn't be pressuring you at all unless he's just trying to get in your pants already.

Stick to your guns!! If he doesn't understand that and accept that, perhaps the only reason he is marrying you is for the sex and if you break up now, it will keep you from feeling the heartache later when he is cheating on you with someone else he thinks sexier. If he really loves you he will wait and he wouldn't keep asking and you can tell him that.
