I am personal fan of not using pick up lines and not doing anything really clever to introduce myself. I usually just try to look for a conversation starter and work from there. For example, say were at the book store and I notice the girl is open to me....I will say soemthing about the fact were in the same suject area or just a simple hi (then work from there).
My question is, what works best? What do you women really like?

i like it best when a guy just be friendly and does not pressure me into going out with him- romantically- so soon. just casual chat or talk on the phone and later maybe meet up for coffee. plus, its waaayy better if he DOES not give me hints that he might like me until i have established the idea in my head that he IS a friend, and that would take me about 1 month or soo...
and oh yea, just saying hi and follow up with something clever is pretty attractive. what kills the mood for me is when a man incessantly compliments me on my looks. thats just...creepy :)

Pick-up lines are VERY annoying. Just try to act natural around her, if things flow, then you know she's worth seeing again, if it doesn't flow, and there is no connection, you're better off not seeing her again, but if you use a pick-up line, you will probably end up being slapped...harder than usual.

all women like different things some like pick up lines others dont, i personally prefer NO pick up lines for an introduction, i think they are corny, (except after we're a couple then they are funny and good pillow talk to lead to sex) there is no definate answer for this question all women like diff. things. Just be yourself...goood luck

Ummm.. I think if you know the girl really well, creative and new pick up lines work, but I think it is good for a flirty joke. Good luck, use them if your comfortable.

GOOD. Pick up lines never work. one time in math class this one guy kept telling meeh pick up lines and they were all disrespectful to meeh.
