he now says he needs time away from us. that he can't see me like before and doesn't want to have sex anymore because stronger feelings will get involved. prefer a man's opinion. but at this point will accept it from everyone. please help!!!

He is giving that relationship with his ex every chance to play out
and that can be good and bad. on one hand, there are a lot of guys who would still be with you and be with the ex at the same time and then make a choice, or keep you both hanging.so it is a good thing that he is doing that but if there is a chance for them, you may lose him. Give him a little time to work things out and either he will go back to her and you will lose him or he will be back with you and you will probably never have that cloud handing over you again. If you are still talking now though, you may be able to help him make up his mind just by talking to him ask if she left him or he left her and why, for example. He isn't after you for sex with the ex in the picture though so he sounds like a good man and I hope this works out for you.

I don't know, i just asked an ex question also. I guess you just keep being his friend, let him know that you love him and that it really hurts. Just be there unconditionally at this point if you really love him...hopefully he will realize what he is missing and come back. If not, it wasn't ment to be. Good luck.
