I wasn't disappointed because I already knew that it wasn't going to be the most comfortable and fantastic experience first time. I got exactly what I expected. The trick now is to teach the other person what does it for you. Men are not telepathic!
What makes Sex more special for me than masturbation, is the connection you feel with that person. Tender kissing, looking into their eyes, having their hands run over your body and feeling wanted is an amazing feeling. And you don't get those things when your on your own pleasuring yourself.

Yeah i'm afraid that the first time is never particularly earthshattering. unless you are going to bed with a pornst*r then you dont much stand a chance, but all i can say in terms of advice is

Ok, for one it was your first experience and that's usually not very good.
Everyone knows how to please themselves, but once you are with the right person and are comfortable, no matter how advanced your masterbation techniques are, you can reach orgasms you could've never imagined possible.

Were both of you virgins? If one of you are experienced, it should not be so bad. I'm still a virgin and think it would be better to give my virginity to someone who is experienced (not to a player, of course!)

i wasnt dissappointed, and it was premarital. ha ha. i was 18, as was he. but he had already had sex a few yrs prior.
he made it really nice tho, and was so thoughtful. a yr and half on and we are still together. :)
and even if we broke up, i still wouldnt regret it. and now, we both love it. its very spicy.

I was-I felt the same way you did "that was it?". Idk, its slowly getting better, but it just isnt my favorite or anything. I whink maybe its better for the guys or something.
