how do you know if it is really over, or if he/she needs some time to cool off?

And if she/he needs that time, what do you do in the meantime? Leave him/her alone, or try and keep in touch somehow?

well today i was in class early siting in my seat then some class mates walk in the class room and then conner walks in and she straches me head(gently yet fast) from behide then walks away and sits in her seat,and stares at me from the corner of her eye

I have been married for 3 years ... met and married him within 6 months .. stupid i know .. but eh ! .. anyway ... i have recently started chatting to a man who lives 150 miles away .. we have spoken most days .. phone and on the interent and he is also married and has suggested we meet .. i know what ur thinking .. it would be for sex , but its not it is genuine freindship .. and who knows what would come of it .. just im not sure what to do ...?

Alright guys, clue me in. This guy I've been dating for 2 months won't have sex with me, even though the attraction between us OUTRAGEOUSLY strong and we get along great. He said he just wants to be friends, that he has too much respect for me to become sexually involved with me. We don't hang out as much as we used to, but he calls or texts me every day. so i sat with him at lunch today and we like almost didn't talk the whole time. I asked him questions that i thought would start up a conversationg but he answered in a short sentence that i couldn't respond to. he was making it difficult for us to talk. and we were just sitting just the 2 of us so nobody could save the silence. i still like him but i dont know if i should sit with him again cuz he hardly ever talked. what should i do or say?!?

Every month or so I find porn on the computer. I hate it. When my fiance doesn't do it, we have great, frequent, passionate, steamy sex, but after I find out he's been at it again, all that is ruined. I even let him take pictures and video of me to look at when he feels the impulse, but I guess that's not enough. I start feeling less comfortable around him, I feel like he thinks I'm not attractive enough, I can't stop wondering if he's thinking about someone else when we make love, etc. I get really down on myself and feel totally unattractive to him, and then he complains that I need higher self-esteem. I tell him how he's hurting me, our relationship, our sex-life, and that I feel unattractive because of what he's done...but he doesn't stop. I've caught him four times already and now I'm worried it'll ruin our marriage. He is everything I've ever wanted and didn't think I would find except for this one issue. So what's the deal? Is it my fault? Can I do anything? Can anyone?

ok it was my wifes birthday last week, so i booked the day off work to suprise her i thought i would cook her my favorite food, i went down the pub on the dinner time & got pretty p*ssed up but even so i managed to cook her 3 pieces of belly draft & chips & for desert i got her a swiss roll a full one!! but before she had even finished the main course she had stormed off calling me self centred!! are women just too much like hard work there seems like no pleasing them? ive told her i wont be spending my days off work slaving over a hot stove for her again.should i call it a day?

my family and friends think my boyfriend is going to ruin my life! im 19 & 20, i want them to butt out i dont know what to tell them! no matter how much i tell them i dont care, they wont stop saying "your going everywhere and hes going no where" or "manfa, you deserve better, is that the life you want?"

hes 20, two kids (from two previous gfs), drinks, smokes alil grass, lives at home w/ his parents. has an okay job, works three days a week sometimes four unloading trucks for a grocery store.

Yesterday, I was working with this guy and we were chatting about our favorite restaurants. I then mentioned this one restaurant that I really liked. I asked if he had been there before or if he knew which one I meant. He responded with the comment: "Are you asking me on a date?" I was completely floored and simply said no. I have no interest in this guy and was just making polite conversation.

Was this the wrong thing to say to a person? Do many guys respond this way to an offhand comment such as this? Should I address the issue again with him? It was a very awkward situation.

My Ex-Husband & I divorced almost 4 yrs ago. The marriage only lasted 5 mths after 3 yrs of dating. The very night we got married. He changed into a completely different person. He dranked alot, lied constantley, extremely controling, & many of affairs, etc. I decided to leave him after 2 wks in ICU while 6 mths pregnant & he was no where to be seen. Now we have a good relationship because of our daughter. We have both moved on & are happy. Now he just volunteers information about how he's quit drinking & all this. Why is he telling me this? Why is he making the changes now instead of 4 yrs ago? Maybe then our marriage could have worked!

my birthday was last weekend and my ex came over to see me and wish me a happy birthday, we ended up sitting on the tailgate talking and then we kissed i'm not sure who kissed who 1st but we ended up fooling around, but he's got a girl friend. i feel horrible that he cheated on her but i don't feel bad that we fooled around but now he's all cold to me when we see each other. i don't know what to do, if i should talk to him about it or just act like it never happened.

Me and my cousin have always been like best friends.We are the same age. I moved over the summer so now i go to his school. When i got to his middle school when school began i became very popular.He's kinda unpopular and he only has maybe 10 friends.None of his friends are girls. He's really mean to a lot of people. I think he is jealous cause i made the basketball team and he didn't also.Also i am 6'1" and i'm only 13.He hardly ever talks to me and when he does he is mean and tries to put me down.
