Alright guys, clue me in. This guy I've been dating for 2 months won't have sex with me, even though the attraction between us OUTRAGEOUSLY strong and we get along great. He said he just wants to be friends, that he has too much respect for me to become sexually involved with me. We don't hang out as much as we used to, but he calls or texts me every day. (Note, we're both over 30). HUH?????? What's going on here?? HELP!!!

There's something wrong with him.
(1) He's lying, or he doesn't feel the same chemistry you do.
(2) He's really nervous about having sex ... ED or bad experience, or STD that he doesn't want to tell you about,
(3) He's got a gf on the side that he deosn't tell you about.
(4) He's religious and doesn't believe in sex outside of a committed relationship / marriage.
(5) He's afraid of commitment.
(6) He's afraid of what might happen to the relationship if it were sexual.
I think you need to be curious, careful, and patient. If it's really meant to be, then he'll come around without too much convincing.

I would say the guy really respects you, but does not see much of a future between the two of you beyond friends and instead of giving into the temptation of being able to sleep with you because it could jeopardize both your futures.

lol....one of my oldest tricks! he's trying to make u think that he doesn't want u cuz he respects you. but the truth is that soon he will pretend to "give in" and then he will treat u like a love whore! he knows u want sex and he will make u hold out till he's ready and then he will expect u to do whatever he wants and the funny part is that u will do what he wants cuz u are going to think that u are obligated to since he finally gave in to the temptation of sex!

hmm, maybe... he thinks that the sex may cause the relationship to somehow fail (sometimes it does). if he doesnt want to have sex, stop pestering him about it.... maybe its his way of saying, "i dont want to go this fast" he obviously was frightened enough to jump back to friends.
