Well I did when I was younger but now that I'm older don't think that I could attract someone as well. If my spouse dies I am going to have a heyday - with the insurance money - I am going to have the house and furniture that suits me - I am going to eat unhealthy foods (he won't let me!) and I am never never going to get tied down again! Can't wait!

in my opinion..i wouldnt say lined up..but i would say mourn and if your young well, a woman does have needs. If uve got a cpl of guys lined up thats because uve already started looking and want ur husband to die..and that is not right. but i would say, life goes on for the living.

Ahahahha. This is funny, it's the way you think and that's good. If that would happened to me, i won't have a couple of possible replacements lined up. But if you do, it's nothing wrong in it, your not everybody else, this is you and YOU have a couple of replacements lined up. Go with what you want don't pay attention to what everybody else is saying. You are you and they are them. Stick with your plan.
P.S. I liked curiouscanadian comment too, that was funny too, Good girl.

Absolutely not!
After a painful divorce from my 1st (24 yr long) marriage, I am finally with the man of my dreams. If anything happened to him, I would live without a man the rest of my days.

I hope your husband is making the same plans for the future should you be the first to die. You should ask him and make sure that he is. I'm sure you would want him to have the same advantage as you.

No, I think if you're thinking about replacements while he's still alive you may need to get out of the marriage now.

I've never even thought about it ... in fact that's quite disturbing ... I had a boyfriend pass away and it's pretty painful ... I think I would date girls if that was to happen ... !

We are all human and meet interesting people that make us think what if? So I am sure there would be someone in my future if that tragedy were to occur.
