sometimes people cant appreciate good things then when its gone, thats the only time they realize what happened they begin to understand and sadly its the moment they wake up, that they appreciate, need it and life not complete w/o it.
What i'm talking about??? my mom left my dad not really its just a drama y'know. because he cant appreciate things and keep complaining about the food. He didnt say thank you when she always make sandwich for work, never compliment her cooking, or the coffee. Then one day she disappear leaving a note that she will go to my grandma in the province. My dad w/ his ego says he cant manage but after 3 disaster weeks he keep on saying how good she was, that he miss her coffee, her cooking, He didnt know that my siblings and me have a regular contact w/ her. To make the story short he went to the province w/c is 12hrs drive fr the city feach my mom, say sorry etc. From then till his death he was grateful to my mom and he appreciate stuff plus he learned to compliment.
My mom admit to my dad the whole story.
people sometimes cant see things the way you wanted them to and dont believe u if u tell them, you have to let them see it for themselves in a hard way
GoodLuck

This is a little funny for me. the reason is my wife and I had the some problem. so I started helping her clean the house. we found later. you see, we have 3 dogs she likes to keep in the house. well these dogs were trashing the house. but even today, I continue to help her clean the house. so what I am saying. get your husband to help you. if it is him doing the trashing, he will stop doing it, if he knows he has to also clean it.

When I clean, I clean and I hate cleaning. I'm a military wife and living in on-post housing, so we have no carpeting. My husband used to come (after I'd just spent the entire day cleaning) and walk around in his muddy boots, take them off, and toss them somewhere. Then he'd look around and ask, " Why didn't you do the floor?" This became a daily occurance. Finally one night I got sick of it. After he'd gone to bed I took his house keys off his key ring. He had so many keys he'd never notice til he got off. The next day before he got off, I cleaned the floors, put a chair outside, and locked the door. When he came home he couldn't in. When he knocked I told him he couldn't come in until he took off his boots. I did this for a week or 2 and he's done it again!
Hopefully this will help you in some way. Good luck!

Stop cleaning up after him, everytime he leaves something trashed or doesn't put it up, leave it, quit picking up after him, and only keep picking up after yourself or kids. Maybe after a few days he will get the hint. At least, I would try to talk to him first, but then I would just play hardball like I said above and quit picking up after him, may annoy yourself, but it will be oh so worth the reward!

That's simple. Let him clean his own trashed. Tell him to pick his trashes every time he throws anything. Remind him all the time. Guys are just so insensitive that they need hundred reminders.

I'd smile and tell him I was sorry I let him down. Than, I'd take pictures and videotape of him trashing the place. Men and women have different tolerances when it comes to dirt. I think he's using this as an excuse to complain. Something else is bothering him.

Remember that women belong in the house to clean up after men, and if they don't have housework to do, they can easily get confused or bored.
Your husband is showing how much he loves you by keeping you occupied and adding meaning to your life.

Tell him you're not his maid and don't pick up after him. He can put his own socks in the dirty laundry. Also tell him that if he's so concerned about it and wants a maid you'd be happy to hire a service to do the cleaning.

that's a man for you...there's really no changing it
sorry:(
but you can always rip him a new one every time he makes a mess, or just stop cleaning all together and see how long he can take it
