i think its jealousy but also a fear that another woman will take her husband

It's usually real condemnation, but not always because of any real sexual activity on the part of the girl who's being labled in that way. Women use this to humiliate and degrade other women for the same reasons a man might call another man a mother you-know-what.

It all depends on the situation you're in. I personally don't hate on other females... If they are beautiful I will let them know, if they act slutty, I will also let them know... It's about the way a lady carries herself... men aren't too kind on words they use either, it's not just women on women... I have no reason to be jealous... I mean since you're bringing it up... yea sometimes I may critize people but that's anybody... not just women in general, plus everybody talks about everyone... good or bad... it's life and there's nothing people can do to change it...

What? Sorry, but the women friends I have don't call each other sluts. I think 'to each their own' and if someone wants to have many sexual partners, that is their choice. To me, a **** is someone who doesn't care who she hurts or causes pain to; just so she gets what she wants from anyones' partner. I've known very few sluts in my life.

i would say no 2 (condemn what I don't have the nerve to do)
mind you, men do that a lot too. they have sex with girls and call them sluts afterwards. there is a fine line somewhere. it's one thing to be free to do what you want and it's another to agree to have sex with every guy because your self esteem and self control is not strong. to me the girl that just has sex because she has nothing else to offer , is a **** and it's a sad thing.

It has nothing to do with jealousy. Yes some women are insecure but for the most part it depends on the behavior. What do you call some chick getting it on in front of everyone getting touched up on her crotch at a packed club on a stage drunk out of her mind?? a lady? Hell no. I personally can see females arnt a threat to me then again I havnt had jealous issues. Ive always let my man have friends that were female even hang out with them. So that jealousy theory nix it. It can be a cause but sometimes its just the flat out truth

The woman calling the names might dislike those other women because they take their man's attention away from them and that causes problems. If a woman doesn't dress and act with self respect what does she and everyone else expect her to be labeled as?

why are they so quick to be sluts, i am not jealous at the one my ex is with it took her two years of pestering (working together five days a week) a life crisis (on her part) and now his is with her she still gives me grief some women. and no i would never touch a married guy or someone boyfriend it just wrong and cruel to play such games..what goes around comes around.. now the real question is why are you men so quick to want to be with these sluts,really....
