my birthday was last weekend and my ex came over to see me and wish me a happy birthday, we ended up sitting on the tailgate talking and then we kissed i'm not sure who kissed who 1st but we ended up fooling around, but he's got a girl friend. i feel horrible that he cheated on her but i don't feel bad that we fooled around but now he's all cold to me when we see each other. i don't know what to do, if i should talk to him about it or just act like it never happened.

If YOU ended it - then you have let someone who STILL loves you back into your life. If you WANT to be with him (despite whatever he did to make you end it) - then you CAN have him...
However, if HE ended it - then he is just a horndog looking for an easy lay. He KNEW that you still have feelings for him, and USED you for sex. Odds are, he is just using this so-called "girlfriend" JUST for sex as well...
Either way, I would be careful - if he is WILLING to cheat on WHOEVER he is with, what's going to stop him from cheating on YOU ;););)

Talk about it or it will just be awkward forever. He may be avoiding you because he regrets it due to guilt because cheated or maybe he thinks you both went down a path you should have not traveled. If you don't regret the fact you "fooled around" then maybe you want him back anyway. But clearly, you're equally in the wrong on this one.

maybe hes confused on what he really wants, he has a girlfriend and like the person who answered first said, if he really cared for you - you wouldnt be the ex and he wouldnt have a current girlfriend, but theres somethings i want to add, maybe he got a girlfriend because he felt you had moved on as well, how long have you all been broke up? did you break up on good terms or bad? & why did you break up? if you want him back, you have to speak up, but dont go around telling ppl you fooled around with him, that will make you look bad and ruin his relationship with his gf. so keep that to yourself, but next time you see him, ask him how he feels about you -or- if it was a mistake? no one is really going to know what he wants or is thinking but him and theres no one better to ask but him, but heres what i think, i think part of him still wants you if he fooled around with you [[i know i would never fool around with any of my exs unless i still had feelings for them, feelings that where so strong id forget about whoever i was with]] ask yourself this, is he the type of guy that would use you just for sex knowing he had a girlfriend? if he is, then forget about him, you dont need him anyway, but if hes not, then he still has feelings for you.

It's ok to ask him but don't get your hopes up with an answer you least expect from him.
Let him know the kiss and everything with it was something you truly enjoyed and U want to know if it was only a birthday gift spurr of the moment or is there more to this...

that is tough, especially if you enjoyed yourself.
BUT i will tell you what a co worker told me when i said i was happy to talk to an ex she said:
"thats nice... but im sure he was an EX for a REASON"
and ive kept that in mind since

girl take it for what it is worth, the good part about it you had a happy birthday, doing that just stered up old feelings that im sure youve been over once before. just know you can have him if you want him but let him know ..dont play!

I say try acting like it never happend....try to ignore him too and mayb he'll realise that he's loosing a good friend and he'll come up to you to ask you whats wrong n why your ignoring him....then you 2 can talk things out.

He doesnt care about you, he used you for a 15 minute fumble (and you let him). I feel sorry for his girlfriend, I hope she realises what a no good he is "soon".
