It depends on who is doing the "thing" and more importantly - what the "thing" is. It may be something crude and immature - and if his best friend is doing it then of course it is funny. If you are doing it isn't so funny anymore. It may stem from jealousy, or "over-protecting" you. Try asking him why this is so. Maybe you are just trying to hard to get his attention, or looking too deep into his actions (or lack of them). Its hard to really give you a solid answer without all the details.

Depends what those things are honestly. We see our spouses very differently than we say see our friends. So while somethings may be funny for our friends to do with our spouses it could be in bad taste for them to do them.
