Have you ever hesitated to do something and then when you tryed to do it. Something that is out of your control prevents you from getting it done. What does that mean? Is that God's way of talking to us. Is he trying to keep us from doing something for our own good? Is it not the right time?

the same way about dating and marriage that they do? Most guys are not looking for wives when they go on dates. Most women apparently are looking for husbands.

I know, I know..."You're not like that!" But the majority of the other women are.

My ex-boyf. who broke up with me in February has just emailed me that he wants to meet me as he misses me. He says he cannot forget about me and he would like to meet me before I go off travelling. However, he has mentioned nothing about trying to be together again. He said that he feels scared that if we don't meet, we will loose each other for good. But last week when I tried to call him, he had no time for me and he brushed me off. The break up hurt me a lot and he was constantly calling me for the last 6 months not wanting us to cut all contact. I don't know what to do. Should I meet him? He said he would come to see me. I still haven't replied and he is calling me, texting me constantly asking me to reply.

Couple A was invited. Couple A threw a fit that their adult children couple B need to be invited. After two cancellations, couple B would be invited but it's too close to the wedding now to send another invite. So I called couple B and they have not returned my call. Couple A sent back their RSVP card but I was told that they WILL NOT come (from my fiance's mom) without couple B since they don't drive.
So Do I-
1. Keep Calling Couple B to come.
(couple B and A live in the same house)
Or
2. Say Screw it and just Toss out Couple A RSVP and hope they don’t show.

If your answer is 1, how many times do you call before your like screw it!?
These are my fiancé Uncle’s family that he hasn’t seen in 5 years- they came by that one time in 5 years to show off their brand new truck and the time before that makes it 10.
So we don’t care if they come or not. I think they are not returning my call so they can show me just how insulted they are.

day and commented that I didn't receive an email, text etc., from him to wish me well. He responded by saying, "I wanted to do it in person because it's better rather than an email or text". Hm, help me to understand this. What could he be hinting? I really do like this bloke!!!!

im in college. ive liked this guy for a very long time and my friend told him 3weeks ago that I like him. I dont know if he believed her, because he never said nething to his pals about it. Neway, hes shy, hasnt had a real gf before...he ignores me sometimes. sometimes he acts awkward and wont look at me but randomly touched me the other day. other times when im talkin to him he does look at me. but its happened twice where ive glanced over at him from a distance and saw him looking at me and he had this glint in his eyes...im pretty sure im not imagining it. I dont think he was looking at anyone else. does this mean he is at least thinking it over? (possibly dating me) its gettin annoying bc i have days where im like "ok he doesnt like me" and then he does something random like that.

My best friend keeps telling me that we shouldn't be friends because she is a bad best friend and thinks that she is just going to hurt me. She used to tell me this all the time when we first started being best friends and we'd stop being friends for a day or so and she'd run back to me saying how much she misses me. She hasn't done it for i wanna say 5 months now but last night she did it again. And she called me up and begged for our friendship back, i couldn't say no because she is my best friend. Is she really looking out for me or does she not wanna be friends and shes just saying this to get me pissed off so i'll end the friendship? What does this mean when she does this? Is she insecure about herself and i keep trying to convince her she's an amazing best friend and she won't hurt me but i don't know what to do. HELP

he purposely bumped to me. a few days back i caught him smiling at me really big. one morning, he was playing fussball with his friends when i happened to walk by and when he saw me he stared at me while i was walking and he smiled too. his friends would call me, but i would usually ignore them. after school, he would wait for me with his friends and when he saw me would leave. and just now, he followed me when i was walking up the staicase. i like this guy too. so does he like me??

Okay I know this is wrong but I've formed this relationship with a married woman. I'm married too. She says she loves her husband. I love my wife. But her and I have this incredible chemistry. We have not slept together, we have'nt kissed. We're saying we're "special friends". Whatever that means right. We've both expressed that our feelings go far beyond the freinds level. We're trying to do the right thing. How do you deal with this? Has this ever happened to you? Does it just go away over time. Part of me wishes it would, part of me fears it will.

I'm a 45 year old woman but usually people tell me I look 10 years youngs. I look good have a great body and personality. I'm also independent and have no problem hanging out on my own with my friends or without a relationship. It's just that for love, the thing is, I'm only attracted to guys of 25 - 30 more or less. Furthermore, I'm only attracted to good looking ones with really good bodies and who are really intelligent. Sure, sometimes, these type of guys ask me out, its just that I'm wondering is there something the matter with me that I only like this 'narrow' group of men? Any insights welcome.

My husband and I have been married for 7 years and I love him to death...we have a very comfortable and open relationship. The problem is that he LOVES foreplay, sex, etc. I, on the other hand, do not.

I have tried hormones, depression treatment, toys, porn, and the list goes on, but the fact of the matter is I don't like it. Personally, I think it takes to long (I don't mind, even prefer, the quickies) and it seems pointless to roll around in the sack getting all sweaty and yucked up.

We've discussed this many, many times, and I always end up trying to force it to appease him, but then I slowly begin to wane and go back to my 'norm'. He says that he feels a distance between us because I prefer quickies and I don't want to do foreplay or have 'lasting' sex. And the cycle keeps repeating itself.

I would rather not focus on the sexual relationship & focus on the bonds that we have, but he doesn't see it that way.

He is my best friend:-) How can I help him understand?

From the very get-to, my boyfriend and I talked about wanting to finally find "the one", and said that we were sick of breaking up with people, just to find someone else and repeat the same process. Well, last month after a Wedding, he asked me what I would say if a year from now, we were happy, and everyting was good, if he asked me to marry him. It told him that I wasn't sure.. ask me in a year. Anyways, the other day he told me that he wasn't sure now if he ever wants to get married because of the bad marriage between his parents (his dad was abusive) and from what he hears from the guys at work that are married.. I then told him that we have a problem then, because I am not up to wasteing my time, and that I don't understand why we even bother being together. After that he told me that he "might change his mind later, though". I broke up with the last boyfriend because he just wanted to play house. Am I just gonna end up reliving the same heartache with this one?

I'm 19 years old and this girl who I'm friends with is 18 years old. I drove her to school today, We had a small argument and she said that I was argumentative, which I'm not. We then talked a lot at a park in my car. She said some hurtful things, she said that I'm too shy and that she dosen't like it when people are shy because she likes to have feedback on what she is saying and then she said that I shouldn't talk bad about her friend even though her friend treats me like crap and I was just sick of it and then she got really mad. She also said that I just want to live an average life and I was kind of offended by that because she made it seem like I wasn't going to go far in life. After all of this she got a ride from a friend to school which kind of upset me because I woke up early and the one day I was able to sleep in because I don't have school on tuesdays or thursdays she finds another ride. Should I just forgive and forget about today?

thanks

she was my best friend, we have around 4 years of friendship , but the other day we all went to the beach and she told nasty ugly things to my sister about me.she asked her how i behaved at school and she said that i had anger outbursts , and that the only people i talked to were her and other of my friends and that when i got angry i never called her.WHICH IS TOTALLY NOT TRUE.in the first place the anger outburst thingy only happened a few times , she know i live with really overprotective family and that i dont have it easy as she does , which sometimes make me rebellious, but i never took it out on her (that i only talked to her and the other girl during high school) how the hell she thinks she had control over the ppl i talked to? i had more friends but she never got to know them since we all had a different schedule.and i b4 this i was the one keeping the relationship alive , i was the one who called her because she never dialed my number to know about me.she calls herself a christian who goes to church every Friday and sometimes Sundays and it amazes me that SHE STILL HAVENT CALL TO SAY “IM SORRY” what do you think I should do let her alone , or call her?

sometimes when you mention that you're separated i've noticed a lot of women shy away. they say the reason is because i could get back with my ex. I say that's really weird especially if your ex filed for divorce, it's a nasty one, and you haven't spoken in 6 months. do people actually get back together after all that nasty stuff going on? I wouldn't think so so why are people so afraid of that?

My first and only abusive relationship happened as a teenager. I started teaching my daughter at a young age to not put up with any one pushing her around, especially someone who is suppose to love her and to not push others around. If I have a son I will teach him the same thing.

Ran across this on MSN thought it might make an intresting discussion for more intresting than Spears and her loss custody.

Teenage girls who stick close with their circle of friends are less likely to take abuse from the boys they date, a new study suggests

What do you think?
