Most divorces are initiated by women (2/3rds of them). Maybe more men should start asking themselves "is this the kind of woman I'd want raising my kids?" when things start to get serious.

And not all men are "not" looking for wives, some are looking for someone to settle down with. And sorry none of the guys dated (except for hubby) did marriage even cross my mind and most of my friends are the same way.

If you're going to tell it, tell it like it is. Most guys are looking for sex, because they are not married and don't have access to regular sex. Instead of taking the time to cultivate a loving relationship with a woman, these predators lie their way into bed with females; then move on to the next victim, once their lies are discovered. Women who are wise don't waste time with bums like this.

Quit generalising. My husband was ready to marry me the moment he laid eyes on me, and he told me so! I was the one to say no, slow down there, mister! Most all of my friends are with guys like this. I think only insecure women are pushy for marriage, thinking they will have someone to take care of them forever.

As for the question, seems to me my man asked me to MARRY HIM, not the other way around.....I am not the one that went out and bought a ring as a surprise, HE DID. I never even talked about marriage......so whatever.
