Currently living in a city of about 40,000'ish people and was wondering if moving to a bigger city such as Cincinnati or Columbus (i'm in Ohio) will increase my dating life? I've had no luck here and have never had a girlfriend..I'm 20 btw.

According to some states the minimum is $350.00 a month. If this were truely the case how in the hell could anyone afford to raise children?
Ransom makes more sense anyways because usually mom takes the children and legally kidnaps them and then dad is fored to pay thousands of dollars in order to be a visitor in the childs life.

my best friend of 13 years never IMs me anymore. whenever i im her she always IMs back but she doesnt say much. i ask if shes mad at me she says no. shes been really busy lately. she DOES have 2 jobs school and a boyfriend, but she did before and always IM'd me then... im not a stalkerbut i know she talks to her other friends through facebook anfd myspace and she never writes to me unless i write first. i tell her i still want to be friend she says "of course" i dont know what i did wrong. weve been friendsfor 13 years i dont want to lose the friendship if u can call it that. what do i do?

Does it end quicker if one of the parties has a lot of baggage? For example, ex spouse, kids, child support, etc. What about if the relationship started as as affair? How long before that relationship goes sour?

Ok... here it is... my mom said i could only invite 5 girls to my 14th birthday just because my grandparents are coming and she doesn't want them to feel really unconfortable with a lot of people and driving us every where.... do you know any good ideas what i can do at my party... i was just going to have a bomb fire, movies, and sleepover. but I want to do something more fun!! any good ideas???/

me and my bf have been living together for a year now. and for the first 8 months he didnt have a job. i had to pay the rent, bill,s and buy the food. he would always say "oh IM WAITING FOR THEM to call me" or "ive lloked everywhere". so i had to get him a job with a friend, but the hours were too little and he quit 2 weeks ago. and now he started again with the "im waiting" crap. im getting tired of paying for everything. i hate getting up in the morning to come to work while he is still sleeping. i bust my butt everyday while he's at home on the computer all day. he says he does his part by cleaning the house, and he does clean all the time, but its just me and him in the house, it doesnt get that dirty. but sometimes, i get home and the dishes arent washed. he wont do them for days!!! AND HE COMPLAINTS ABOUT COOKING OF Me. he says i need to do my part at home too. IM GETTING SICK OF IT! ive tried talking to him calmly ,YELLING,IVE TRIED EVERYTHING. what can i do?? please help!!!

How come guys say it's so easy for a girl to get laid and so hard for a guy? Well first of all, no ****. Second, girls want love, not just a sexual relationship or one night stands. So why even say something like that like it's a competition? As much as some guys want to believe, women aren't like you! Yes this is about the same girl from my other question.

So I've decided to finally tell her that I like her (a lot). I have a hunch that she likes me too. Well, she likes my hair, (looks at avatar). We sometimes have one of those things where I look at her only to see that she's looking at me. She's a very cheerful girl (most of the time). She often says "I love you" jokingly to most guys in our class (including me). A friend of mine said that before I got to school once or twice she was asking him about me. This was more visable before. I know that sometimes when you like someone the feeling goes away
and you stop liking them. I just hope I'm not too late, I'd probably be really depressed if I was. I also don't wanna look like an idiot. So can someone help me out? Should I do it? Do you think she still likes me?

Im 20 year old chicana and i come from a very strict and tradional mexican family. That i hate to say are some what racist, and i know would not want me to date out side my race. But see a few weeks ago i meet this really great black guy that i like alot and im attracted to and i could see going to the next level of a serious realtionship. But im really scared of what my family might think or do when they find out. See hes cool about keeping it on the low for a while till i can tell my family but i know thats not fair to him to have to hide him like if im assamed of him. which im not. Im just scared i have always been the one to follow what ever my family says but im really scared and i dont know what to do. I'm 28. My mother was physically and verbally abusive to me as a child. Now that she cannot hit me, she's turned into a very manipulative, controlling and obsessive person. I love her and have sought counselling to forgive her and are through with my issues with her and my childhood. But how much more counselling should I seek to deal with her NOW in a healthy way that wont damage what relationship I have with her? Note: SHE has never sought counselling. She recognizes her issues but appears to do nothing about them. How do I cope with this? Also...I moved to the other side of the US, away from her, a month ago, because she was beginning to have a negative effect on my son and my parenting. Any advice?

My brother-in-law has moved to Costa Rica, but he refuses to give up his Irish name. What's worse, some of his ancestors were horse thieves in Texas.
Should I make him disavow his Irish name or his thieving ancestors first?
A friend suggested that I ask him to change his name to the Spanish "Que Bien" since that sounds like his current name, but I think this approach is somewhat dishonest and does not address the real heart of the issue. Not to mention this solution does not solve the horse thief problem.
I'm not sure if the horse thieves were of Irish descent or some other national origin, so I don't know how this affects the situation.
What should I do? I'm about to pull my hair out.

I've already asked this question twice but the first time I didn't get any answers and the second time I only got one that didn't help at all!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I'm getting so frustrated!!!
The guy I like and I have the weirest relationship. One day we'll practically be inseparable, and the next day we're ignoring each other. I don't know why this happens or how to stop it. I'll been dating this guy for 2yrs now (there is a 20yr age different) but nobody knew his age until a few weeks ago. I told my ex-fiance he was lucky that Im willing to take half the responsibility for our failed relationship. My father has spent almost $6000 that cannot be gotten back for the wedding that was canceled. Im having the ring sold to cover MAYBE a third of what my family has spent.

I am the older sibling, my little sister is three years yonger than i am. She has always had the better grades and knows how to suck up to my parents. I have always gotten c's or b's and i voice my opinion. My husband still looks up his old girlfriend on Myspace at least once a month to see what she's up to. I don't think he still likes her, in fact I think he hates her, but why does he still have to do this after 3 1/2 years? Why can't he just forget about her and move on?
