I guess he told you that he hates her and you believe him. Think about it would you look up a old boyfriend you supposedly hate just to see what he 's been up to. He is looking her up because he still has feelings for her and there is nothing unusual about that just as long as he does not act on it. Him getting in touch with her is a problem and i would watch him very close and keep a very short leash on him when he goes out. Even though she is an old girlfriend her grass is greener and he is familiar with her after all.

Well I don't know what to say. I try to do the same thing too. I don't like my ex or even expect him to ever keep in contact with me but I guess when you go out with someone they become a part of your life and of you. When you break up they leave and all but their presence is still a part of you. I mean it's like you never forget your ex so sometimes you just want to know what's going on in their lives becasue it's someone that you once were really close to even though you have no feelings for them what so ever. It's just keeping up with people. I don't know.

It is just curiosity about someone who was once a part of his life but looking her up on Myspace doesn't mean he is interested any more than looking up a fellow former male student means that he is gay..

maybe she did something to him that he will never forget, and in that sense wont ever forget her... but damn that is pretty disrespectful for him to check up on her and you knowing about it. if i had a girlfriend that was checking up on her ex all the time.. especially on myspace... ide probably break up with her... that doesnt show any sort of respect. there is a reason why we call our EX an EX... so you can X them out of your life!!!

If he hates her he still has feelings for her. Love and hate are two very similar emotions that sometimes get confused. Only when he has no feelings one way or the other can you and he truly say he is past his relationship with her. Sorry, but that is the reality.

I've been with my boyfriend for 3yrs and I know he still thinks about and calls his ex girlfriend. I'm 100% sure he's over her and I'll do the same with my ex boyfriend. Your husband has moved on that's why he's married to you but checking up on someone who was part of your past is not a bad thing. It probably gives him stability because he's where he wants to be in life and she isnt.

Maybe curiosity, maybe he doesn't want her to move on, but he doesn't mind moving on himself, most people feel like that after they like someone a lot and break up, it looks like he isn't fully over her, but probably likes you a lot more than her

I agree with the person above. Sometimes you just wonder what has happened since you and that person stopped being together. Some people really do just wonder. But if it really bothers you then ask him about it and see what he says.
