He spends a lot of time with his family, which I have no problem with. The issue I do have is that although we agree on a specific time that he will come back home, he is usually 2 or more hours late. Even when I visit his family with him and we set a time to leave, it's the same thing. I recently talked to him about this and told him that when we agree on a time for him to come back, I'd like him to show up so I'm not waiting around forever for him. And that when we go to his mom's house I'd like to leave at a certain time so we don't get home at 1AM (like we have been doing). However, I've talked to him about this before and he still can't seem to make it on time. Whenever I bring this up he gets defensive and says that I need to give him time with his family, even though he already spends like 6-7 hours with them...I feel like I get the latter of his time. I feel like I can't depend on him in this aspect. But I don't feel that this is a valid reason to break up, either. Suggestions?

How do you deal with it?

I'm completely terrified at the fact that this is how my fiance wants to spend the rest of his life. His father and brother were both officers, and it's something he's always wanted to do since he was little. I don't want to talk him out of it because it's something he's always wanted since he was little. I really want him to be happy....but i'm really scared.

How do you deal with knowing that each phone call while he's away has the potenital to be his last? or that in the mornings while you're getting ready that it could be the last time you seem them?

My parents have come up with the "try not to think about" thing, but I'm finding it's always in the back of my mind.

I just want to be supportive, but I feel like a big baby.

I dated this guy and then i broke up w/ him because i ddin't know that he was going to be going to my school,(he hadn't told me yet that he was going to be)and so... I broke up with him cuz i didn't want a long distance relationship... so then turns out he is going to my school, I still had feelings for him, then my BEST FRIEND told me that she was into him... it created tension in our friendship(might i just say she was always talking aobut him, and she knew i was still kinda into him)so anyway,I made her choose between me and him, it was creating tension between our friendship and ruining it. So i made her choose, me or him, she chose him. I felt like the lesser out of the two, of him and I.So we are no longer friends... am i right you don't do that to a friend.. I hear people say, and i believe it too, YOU DON"T DO THAT TO A FRIEND especially not you best friend!!!am i right to make her choose and be mad for her desicion give you opinion on my problem!Doi forgiveherwhenshecomesback?

I want to join the circus. It sounds like so much fun. And considering I'm 2 feet tall they would accept me to ride elephants. Also, my voice is very high-pitched and squeaky. But my mother-in-law, Crenja, found out my plans from reading my diary. I don't know how she found it, considering I hid it on my ceiling fan, but anyway, she won't let me go. I am 55 and completely free to make my own decisions, but the old lady has told the police and they put me on house-arrest. How am I supposed to convince my mother-in-law to let me go after I'm off of house-arrest? I really want to be in the circus! =o)

,,,,no disrespect, but really!?

Don't get me wrong... I'm a straight man and it's almost impossible for me and for most men to spend a whole day without thinking about it at least for a second.

The couple are friends of my parents, they are both getting married for the second time and have tons of stuff and 3 kids, they are not registered anywhere.

What should I get for a gift and how much should I be spending? Is it appropriate to get a combined gift with my brother? we are both in our young twenties and single, but will be bringing dates to the wedding, what price range should I look at if we get a combined gift and what would be good?

Any ideas are appreciated. Thank you!!

is having an adults only reception/dinner. We will not be attending, due to lack of a baby sitter. We do plan on attending the ceremony, but will not be attending the reception. I am wondering what value of a gift we should give. We are not particularly close to this niece.

Okay. I've been with my husband since I was 16 years old, (nearly 6 years!). We have two kids together and got married nearly three years ago because I got pregnant. Thing is, he's not turning out to be the father and husband I'd thought he'd be. He refuses to help me with house work and can't even be trusted with my kids. He left my son as an infant in a carseat for 4 hours without changing him or taking him out to comfort him or anything because he wanted to play x-box. I have caught him sleeping while watching the kids, etc. etc. The majority of the time he is inconsiderate and even mean, allthough he has only hit me once....... I don't love him anymore, and want to leave, but I also want to do whats best for my kids. My parents have offered to let me stay there to get back on my feet, and I think I'm going to take them up on it. I don't want to end up miserable for 18 years of my life just to get my kids through highschool! Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

My husband and I were separated on the verge of divorce when he was involved with another woman. He asked me to leave because we were destroying the relationship, which I agree but never wanted to leave. Months went by when he finally decided he wanted to stay married and asked me to come back home. I didn't want to leave in the first place so I was happy that he wanted to stay married.

Since being back in the house I've had a difficult time dealing with the facts that SHE was here, living in my home, sleeping in my bed, and was emotionally and sexually involved with my husband. At times I feel foolish for coming back because SHE is still brought up and things are still found (not going into detail here).

So, my question is how do I get past this and trust him again.

1. bf leaves you while you guys were out on thursday night. Leaves and you have to find a ride home.
2. calls you to come meet him friday and when you show up, he leaves. then comes over later.. and is on his knees apologizing telling you how sorry he is and he loves you...hummm
3. Goes with you to a funeral of your friend, he leaves to go visit his friend while you attend because he didn't know the dead guy much, then tells you he's going to dinner with his friend and you're not invited?

so.. you leave with your friends after the funeral. He looks all over town for you because you didn't stay there waiting for him.

4. Now he's mad because you left?

Um.. I seriously think it's time to dump him.. but how is the Name of God can he be mad? I think I'm the one who should be p.o.... right?

Alex...he's amazing.
We flirt all the time and he respects girls and women like a real gentlemen so I know he's not flirting just for fun.

I mean....picking me up 24/7, making me sit on his lap..with his hand on my thigh, buying me a rose, tickling me 24/7, falling asleep with each other, and making sweet comments....that's flirting, correct?
Correct..
haha...I answered my own question. :D

He's about to be 16.
and I'm 14.
I go over to his house like 5 times out of the week.
Me and his brother, Anthony, are close friends, also.

but anyways...
Do I tell him how I feel?
What if he doesn't have them back?

Please answer!
I'm so confused..

my boyfriend wants me to move out of state with him and his friend, searching for a better job. he said he will go with or without me but he really wants to find a great paying job. I told him no, i'm not going, i have plans and goals of my own i want to accomplish and I told him he is being selfish, he got mad, i was mad...it wasn't a good conversation...he also wants a change of scenery and so do i, but i want to move when i am ready, not when he is...he left here last night and we were both pretty pissed off, i havent talked to him since...I really love him alot, and i know he loves me but I really think he is being selfish about all of this, he should have considered me too...we have even talked about getting married, but i told him if he moves it will be the end of our relationship. what do i do? i have severe anxiety issue and i don't think now is the time to talk about leaveing everything behind. what should i do when i talk to him? what do i say? any advice?

When a couple opens a joint account with both names on the account, what does that signify? Both male and female are not married. Note: the female leaves work with a third party male, co-worker every single day.
Thanks.

I just told one of my guy friends that i actually love him. He responded with a simple ok and whatever. Then he said something else and smiled, but the only problem is I didn't hear what he said before he smiled so I asked him and he just said "nothing." I'm a little confused right now so it would be helpful if you could give my some advice. Thanks

My neighbor has kids that are about 8 and 10. I just found out they aren't married. I didn't know and may have referred to her fiance as husband. Is that offensive? How can I know?
