day and commented that I didn't receive an email, text etc., from him to wish me well. He responded by saying, "I wanted to do it in person because it's better rather than an email or text". Hm, help me to understand this. What could he be hinting? I really do like this bloke!!!!

Sounds more to me like he forgot all about it until you reminded by talking to him about it, and he came up with the "in person" thing as a really quick comeback. I don't know. Just my feeling.

Sounds like he really is into you too! He probably just didn't get there in time to do it in person, but he should have sent you a text saying he was on his way, guys can be that way sometimes, just not thinking.

I wouldn't think too much of it, other than he wanted to be there for you in person. What a good guy!

You shouldn't be "expecting" a call, or email, or text or whatever. That's your problem - your expecting too much. If you don't "expect" it, then you wouldn't be disappointed when he didn't.

You don't have to worry about these things.....Boys usually do forget to do such things.......So don't worry....!!!
