I'm almost 18, (10 days ) and I am in college. I live at home and my parents usually go to sleep before me. I give them each a kiss on their head and tell them I love them before turning off their light.
I told my friend about it and she says I'm weird and I need to grow up? What do you think?

My parents moved me to China with them, from my home in Toronto, Ontario. However, now that i'm here, I can not keep up with the academic standards, and am doing quite poorly in school. I have the option of at the end of this year, to move back to my grandparents home, who live in Nova Scotia, Canada. Should I move away from my parents with them? I'm so confused. I'm thinking that I should, but need some advice? I'm 14 years old now. Thanks a bunch!

I'm starting to plan my first year of college already; I plan on attending the University of Illinois and I'm going to live in my grandmothers house. She has extra bedrooms and I would get much better food than if I was living in a dorm. Dorm life just isn't for me. She says I don't need to pay her at all, but that just doesn't feel right, I feel like I NEED to pay. What is a reasonable amount of money to pay for rent, which includes food and extra utilities, etc. I don't know how much money is appropriate for this siituation. I don't want to take advantage or anything. Please help me.

I love my mother in law, I just don't agree with her lifestyle. She left her husand for another man, and now left this new guy. She has no place to go right now and has occasionally stayed with us. She sits on my couch, drinks wine and smokes cigarettes constantly (she does it o our patio, but it is a small apartment and i am pregnant...it bothers me) She tries to give me advice and bad mouths her ex's all the time, drunkinly rambles and tells me how great of a son she has and how lucky I am (not saying I am not lucky, but her baby boy ain't that perfect....) all while she is drunk off wine. How do I nicely say "you can't stay here" and "I don't need your help with my baby" with out sounding too bitchy?

So, I've been dating my boyfriend for 3 years. We want to get married, but we don't have a timeline for when.

Anyway, I have an account on a wedding website. I basically go on their and talk to the other brides and even ask basic planning questions. Wedding just interest me...... But trust me, I don't have a dress or venue picked out. Just lots of ideas in my head.

Well, the other night I was at his house. He had to run to the grocery store, so I stayed behind and was on his computer. I signed into my wedding account and started playing around.

Well, I just realized I forgot to delete my history and signout of my account. I'm afraid, I've been caught.

He was acting a bit strange towards me today. Like something was bothering him.......I could be crazy. But, I think he found out about "my little secret hobby"

What do I do?

I don't want him thinking I'm PSYCHO. On the forum, I refer to him as my Fi and we are getting married in two years.

I'm stuck..

Ok, I turned 19 in late July and I still view myself as a regular teenager. I'm in college, still supported by my parents, I enjoy being a teen, no responsibilities, hanging out on the weekends, and when i'm home, I even have chores. I believe i'm a teenager still I mean, c'mon (Nine-TEEN)
but, some of my college buds who are 18-19 who also are supported by their parents, have chores while home, etc. etc. insists that we're adults... so, we are legal in some senses but, we don't function, think, or live as adults (thank god) (I actually hate that i'm in my last teen year!) I never understood the rush to give up the best times of your life Your TEENS are the best. What's so good about being an adult... I don't think 19 is an adult... but, my parent-depending friends do.

Any opinions?

I am 35, I once dated a bright 23 year old college student in the political science field (not a ditzy, superficial girl). My female friends and acquaintances, and ex-girlfriend were less welcome to her than other women I've introduced them to and I've been told that some even made rude remarks about her.

Okay, I'm new to the whole dating thing... And I want to ask a girl who I like - and I think she likes me - to the movies. How should I ask?

Ah, middleschool romance. Completely reaks, but unavoidable.

-after you finish university?
-after being well traveled?
-after you don't have fun at the bar anymore?
-after you can support yourself?
-after you've lived on your own a bit?

My fiancee is active duty military (Navy). When his divorce was final they had no custody arrangement for the children, and now she is taking full advantage of this. He calls 5-6 times a week and he never gets a hold of her to talk to his children. He has transferred to another state and hasn't seen or talked to them in over 2 months, and its not for the lack of trying. The only time he hears from her is when she asks for more money "for the kids". She is already remarried (to the guy she cheated on him with, whom also cheated on his wife with her), and he is in the Navy as well. There is no reason she should need more money to "support the children". My fiancee would like to go to court to A) Get the child support lowered, B) Get a custody arrangement set up, and C) Possibly seek custody of the children. However, he doesn't feel that it is possible for him to get any sort of custdoy. The children respond better to him and he can financially support them. Any thoughtsor suggestions?

I am browsing through the bridal catalog, and I saw this wedding veil by Tia Mazza or Reem Acra that said veil was
$4000. NOW, I know lace, and the veil is expensive and the work put into it, but is it really worth $4000?

Would you say they marked it up 200-300%?

You've got to book a place usually up to a year in advance. We know we'll be getting engaged (when my boyfriend returns from a 4 month trip for work). He's concerned that it's bad luck to book the site before the engagement but he agrees to Sept 08. Is it bad luck?

I have a friend who have been looking for a job for almost 2 years now..her field is customer service and to me it dont seem long to find a job in that area. She goes on many interviews and never gets hired..Now here's the thing she drinks every night and then wakes up in the morning to go on her interviews she may stay up until like 3 am and her interview is like 9am. she cant understand why she is not getting hired.

I have tried to explain to her maybe its b/c she is up all night drinking. She claims she gets up in the morning and be there on time. However, I can always tell is someone may have been drinking the night before I'm a manager in a large office..... could they smell the beer on her I dont know........

I know and have been great friends with this girl for 5 years (im 19). She has always had a dramatic life and I have been through it with her. Every single up and dramatic down.

Well, I've never really gone to her like that, my problems are just the typical family problems. Nothing serious. But this past year Ive been feeling very bad because of some home problems. A few months ago I went to her house, expecting to have my bestfriend comfort me and give me herself like Ive done for her countless times before. But I get a "Oh I cant talk to you now I have company" and get pushed back to my car. Since then Ive had an inner grudge that just wont go away.

I feel like thats not a friend. Also before she use to call me non stop everyday for nothing. Again these past few months she only calls me when she needs something, and when I used to call her to say "lets go out" she would always blow me off.

I just feel this anger towards her, what do you think.
Hopefully you read all this
