Honey, if you're depressed and need to talk to someone, talk to a counselor or psychologist. They will be able to help you. If all you're doing with your friends is pouring your problems out on them, they really aren't equipped to help. Also, they don't want to be around someone who is down all the time. We've all been through those times when we feel depressed and need to talk, but it sounds like you would do better talking to a professional. It isn't hard, I've done it myself and it has helped me a lot. Good luck and hang in there.

Please reference the website below for a little useful knowledge.

People mature at different rates and plateau at different levels for different lengths of time. I know a 27 year old rage-a-holic that is still functioning on a 12 year old emotional level.
Your old friends may take some time to catch up to you, and you really need to wait and get to know the new friends before opening up to them... after all, you don't want to arm an unknown enemy with sensitive information.

It is very tough being a young person. You need to find some constructive outlets... a craft or some kind of art activity, extracurricular activities, sports, or even just going walking whenever you feel blue... a little physical activity will help you relax and ramp up the happy endorphin hormones.

See if your mom can get you on a vitamin supplement or two. If the sensitivity is around "that time of month" see about getting something called Evening Primrose Oil in gelcaps. If you are having trouble concentrating and perhaps feel a little too burdened, see if a supplement called "Holy Basil" will help. You take these with meals. They are completely safe.

Once I felt like that under the same circumstances.
My Godfather told me to sit somewhere alone and talk about all my feelings and difficulties into a recorder. Just talk it all out to yourself.
Three days later - play back your recordings - listen carefully - and your own brain will decipher your problems, perhaps even to realise that they are minor and simply not worth your frustration.
Only once - I have never had to record my feelings again.
Remember - absolute privacy when you record this and when you play it back. good luck
