We have a brand new home and it's simply gorgeous. My husband's mother was supposed to only be here for a vacation, but it looks like she's wearing out her welcome. One day she says she wants to go to California, the next day she says she wants to move back to Texas. Now she's in the talks of staying here!!!

I'm about to lose my mind. She smells up the house with her smelly cooking, she makes my cats uncomfortable and I can't even enjoy unpacking my things or watching TV without her nagging me. It's like "Everybody Loves Raymond" but worse because she's actually IN the house.

She's old, she has no money and when I saw the guest room she's staying in, it looks like she's all settled in. I talked with my husband about taking her away, but he's so busy with work and other things.

What should I do? How do I get her out? (I already thought of threatening my husband of moving out until she leave but that's not fair --it's my house too and I don't feel I should leave 'cuz of her.)

Okay, I know I've been posting everyday for like, the last three days. But it's important, so any help would be appreciated!
I'm Charlotte, 15 years old, from England. Now single, dumped my boyfriend over a week ago because I was hearing rumours from my very best, none lying friend that he liked another one of my friends and was flirting with her. But bear in mind that my friend hates him anyway, because he dated her younger sister and was really horrible to her, and called her names and so on. She can't forgive him.
So anyway, he texts me what I would think if he lsaid he liked my best friend, and I'd said I'd dump him. Then he said he only joking, but I dumped him anyway, for messing me about and because my friend said he bad knews.
So we avoided each other for a few days... but now we're friends again. Not like, all over each other best friends like we were before we dated and whilst we were dating, but we're on good terms.
But, you see, I'm confused.
(continued)

Which do you think is worse...

First & second cousin getting married OR same sex couple getting married?

I think it is sad that more states allow you to marry your first cousin rather then your life partner that is the same sex as you.

Just curious

I am 21 and my husband is 25, our son is three. We dont like leaving our son with anyone and plus we dont have any relatives or friends near us since we moved far from them. We live in Long Island, NY. We dont really have any spending money put would love to do something everyday instead of being home all day doing nothing. I am a stay at home mom and he gets home at about 3pm so we have the whole day to spend. Does anybody have any ideas on how we can all do things that doesnt include wasting money put that includes something we can all enjoy. If anyone has any suggestions on great places in Long Island please let me know.

Me and my husband have been together for a long time, we have lived together for about 4 yrs and just got married this past June.
He usually goes down on me before so I can climax but I rarely return the favor. I don't feel that comfortable about it and I am not sure if he is that into it. He never asks me to do it for him, does he just not ask me because he knows I don't really like it? Does EVERY guy love that, or just some are more into it? Could he really not like it or just doesn't feel he needs it.

My wife and I have been married for 10 years, together for 12. Recently, she has been distant and unemotional. She has been confrontational at the drop of a hat and rarely speaks.

Our lives have been extremely stress filled in the last 12 months. Our neice and her young child had moved in for a year. (recently moved out), I lost my job in December (denied unemployment, out of work for 4 months) and took a job making less than expected.
We don't live extravegantly, but we are comfortable. Like most, we live paycheck to paycheck (especially now) and she told me two days ago that she can continue to live like this.
We have three wonderful children under 8 that mean everything to me. She means everything to me. I have recently gone back to school to get my degree and "do what is best for the family" I made some bad decisions in our past financally & careerwise, How can I get here to stop looking at the negatives and focus on what is right and that I am doing what is best for us. !

What do you think of this? I attended a wedding this summer where the older bride (with three adult children) wore a traditional, princess-type, white, wedding gown with tiara. I was shocked! Did I have the correct reaction?

I would like my wife to attend parent/teacher conferences with me for my child who she is very close to.The problem is my exwife(mom) who DOES NOT want my wife to go "as she is not my sons mother".Can my ex "legally" keep my wife from going if i want her there?I have joint custody with my exwife and the only reason my ex does not want her there is bitterness and control issue.if this goes to court what will the judge say?

My husband is abusive emotionally and physically to my children and I. Today he was sleeping and my 2 year old got on the bed and he kicked him off so hard that he hit the wall and has a bump on his head and got a bloody nose. Before you look down on me, it's not that I don't want to leave him, but I'm so afraid. My husband supports me totally. I have no job, no money, no car, no friends, I just have him. He puts me down so much as a wife and mother that I sometimes wonder if he's right for staying and letting my kids live like this. I just don't know where to start. I know if I don't leave he's gonna hurt someone badly and I don't want it to be my children. I don't know why I'm so afraid to be without him. How do you get over that? I know its best for my kids, but I'm still scared. My biggest fear is that he'll get joint custody and I won't be here to protect them. If I stay I know he'll never be alone with them.

I am truly happily married but can't get my mind off a guy who I know and see very little of, but so attracted to. He is married as well. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to know he feels the same way about me. I know its wrong and wouldn't ever go there with him, but there is a small part of me that would love to. This has been going on for almost a year. Thought I was over this fantasy but its come back WHYYYYYYYY? My husband is everything I want and more, I love him so very much, but he's not him.

I was 17 and my husband 19 when we got married. We've made it through some rough times and are still together. Latelly though I feel that we are growing apart. We've been married for more than ten years and and have children together. He's a great guy and I love him but he never wants to do anything different and I feel like we're in a rut. I wonder how many people last a life time together when they were each others first.

his friend made it clear that he wants strippers and his fiance told me she doesn't care. my issue is, i don't want my husband there! without stepping on others' toes, i don't believe in stripping. i find it degrading. i told my husband i would strip for him (i'm ok with that haha). this bothers me....i don't know what to do.

am i right for not wanting him to go?

When you meet a lady for the 1st time, what is simply the most irresistable aspect of her that you will notice?

Are you more attracted to external (physical) or internal (personality) qualities during just a single meeting? Which aspect is it that will keep you thinking of her even after getting home?

I'm still youngish and maybe my mind will change but as far back as I can remember I have not really wanted kids.
I've never googood over babies, never felt broody and always knew that I'd never pursue a baby down every possible avenue (meaning if it didn't come naturally I wouldn't go for IVF etc)

My question is, hopefully to someone who's been there, how valid/genuine are these feelings? Is it possible to instinctively feel that something is just not a good idea for you when it concerns such a big issue? If this is the case, is there still a regret once the chance to reproduce is well and truly gone?
