Which do you think is worse...
First & second cousin getting married OR same sex couple getting married?
I think it is sad that more states allow you to marry your first cousin rather then your life partner that is the same sex as you.

it wouldn't bother me if same sex got married. I have a friend that's a lesbien and in love with her girlfriend. I think it would be fine if they got married. Plus, since they can't technically produce children, adoption would be good for this country. You see so many celebrities adopting from other countries, but we need people to adopt the kids in our own country.

neither should be allowed as they are both wrong. The incest be the worst one but I also feel like gays should not be "married" as God created marriage for a man and woman. There should be some kind of union for same sex couples, but do not call it mariage. A marriage is recongnized in the eyes of God and the law, where a different type of union would be recognized only in the eyes of law. Cousins marrying cousins? I didn't know that people do that often enough for us to talk about it. That is sickening! You should not be trying to find a wife or husband at the family reunion!!

First and second cousin marriage is worse. I also think its wrong that some states allow children as young as 15 to marry but two consenting adults cannot! Its disgusting!!

First and second cousins getting married and having children is legal in many states where same sex marriage is not. First and second cousins often produce mentally defective children. Usually the states where this is legal are run by mental defectives, which explains the same sex marriage ban.

I think first cousin marriage is worse. I also think the govt. has no right to set laws about who can and cannot marry as that is a personal choice between the two people and the govt. has no business involving itself in personal matters. This is supossed to be a democtatic country; but sure doesn't seem to be anymore.

Well, they are both wrong, however i think the cousin thing would actually be worse, because same sex marrriages cant have kids, but cousins can. That is where it becomes the worst for birth defects and retardation type problems. It is worse at that than if it were brother and sister to my understanding. Its not fair to the offspring of such families. It should be mandated that if you do these types of things you should be sterilized!

Yes, it is sad that my friend who is a lesbian, my friends that are a gay couple, and my boyfriend's sister and her girlfriend aren't allowed to get married.
