I found out that my dad wasn't my biological father a few years ago,my mum died few years before that. My parents always treated my sister better than me. I was emotionally starved and rejected by them my whole life.
My dad wont tell me anything about my real father, not interested in helping me at all.
Now my sister is wth my kids dad. I argued with my sister over it and now my dad has dismissed me from his life until i make up with her.
I don't understand why he has done this, my kids are devastated and to make it worse their grandad has turned his back on us.
I feel that, now my mum isn't here, he would just prefer it if me and my kids disappeared.
I feel like going to him and telling him how we feel and what he has done to us or write him a letter. When it was just me that he rejected i could cope, but now its my kids.
He is taking my sisters side and i don't understand why?
What would you do about it if you were me?

I have an 11-year-old daughter. She is from a previous marriage. Her father has a long list of arrests for dui's and everyone knows he does drugs also. He has been out of her life since she was almost 6 months old. He came to a friend of my and my present husbands New Years Eve this year. Still don't know how he knew where we were. My daughter was with us. He tried to start a fight (he was drunk) and I made him leave. Anyway, on the divorce papers state I have sole custody and care of her due to visitation to him. He was supposed to pay $44.00 a week child support. He hasn't paid any. I want to know if he has any rights and if so what are they. He has been out of her life for so long, no contact, and no child support. He hasn't paid it for just over 10 years. I live in Alabama. Does anyone know what I can do? Does he have any rights anymore?

In march of 2007, I left maryland, my husband and my two sons. My ex and I have had a very rough road and rather then uproot my kids. I allowed them to live with their father until I got a place of my own and settled in New Hampshire. It's taken 6mths to get settled. I finally have a place of my own, a good job and I have starting seeing a man I am so happy to be with. In early Aug. I brought the kids to visit for one week. I didn't have a place of my own at that point, so we spent most of the week with the guy I've been seeing and his two sons, who are just about the same age as my two boys. We had a great time together. But whenever Phil(boyfriend) was around me, Cody(my son age 6) would flip out.. I tried to explain to Cody that Phil and I were good friends and that Cody was the most important part of my life. Cody says if Phil's apart of my life I don't love him. Cody's dad has a new live in girlfriend and Cody's great with her. Why is my son treating me like a jealous boyfriend?

He is moving in with me and she is trying to make him feel guilty by telling him if he chooses me he is ruining his family, accusing him of lying, telling him he can come back home but he has to never see or speak to me again, telling him she hates him and I will never be welcome in her home. I want to get along with her but she is making it next to impossible. He told her he loves me and she will just have to get over it.

Based on the headline above..eerr well..my friend,Cher...she got a problem bout her family. She often tell me her problems bout her family but unfortunately, all I can say is"patient,Cher"I feel bad because I cant help her.She got a very hot tempered father and Cher is a sensitive girl..ofcourse she upset and disappointed when her father said one day to her"Its better if I dont have any children..I have but the useless one!"Wasnt it terrible because Cher is very bright student at school. Her father always like to release his stress at Cher and her mother with angry at them and treat them as a parasite at their own house.Cher's father is a straight man and like to do thing based on his own way..like selfish and arrogant.Cher even afraid to talk with her father..you know..father and daughter conversation..But Cher life is not that bad...his father still doing his responsibility to them but I know Cher suffer inside. What type of father is that?Give me your thought or suggestion..thanks guys!

My immediate family are all very close. The problem is we do not speak to a few members of our extended family. One of these members has caused nothing but trouble for everyone of us. This is my Aunt, who as a child I loved very much and looked up to. The problem is, a few years ago she spread so many lies about my mother and grandmother that it split the family for a while. She does not live near us any more but has recently gotten into contact with me through an website. The rumours and lies that she told about my mother were awful and I have since discoverd that she lies about everything. She has told people that she owns a lovely house, has a good job and her children have great jobs, she even said her grandchild had an illness a while back, which I know are all untrue! I am starting to believe she has an illnees because she lies about everything, the rest of the family say she is evil. I am starting to feel sorry for her, should I stay in contact or do you think it could do damage

i think he might still have feelings for his ex. one night we somehow started talking about his ex that cheated on him, how she really hurt him. then he just started tearing up as we were talking about about her cheating on him. i confronted him and asked him if he still had feelings for her at all. he said no, the only kind of feelings he has towards her was hatred and between 1 & 100, he probably cares about her half of one. i call him up later that day. he went on talking about her again! i got silent on the phone and he asked me why i wasn't saying anything. then i started crying on the phone because all the depressing talk about his ex put a toll on me. he kept asking me what was wrong but i wouldn't say anything. i could hear him crying too. he started saying that he felt like he poisoned our relationship with the past. he said that i was the only happy thing in his life and he goes and messes it up and that i mean the world to him. could he still have feelings for his ex thoug

Many times I have seen my brother/father pinch/shift/adjust their privates in public - sometimes right in front of me! Why do they do this?
Why am I expected to look away (mom tells me to)? - Why cant i stare just like men do?
What do they adjust? The 'balls' or the 'rod'?
Is this a comfort issue or something sexual/manly to do?
Do they do it because they have a erection or even limp ones need to be moved?
Also do all men have a 'erect*ion' when they wake up in the morning - I have seen a few obscene 'tents' made by my brother in the morning... Hee Hee!!!
I dont see any of us adjusting our breasts/panty like that LOL..! And i am sure men will not look away if we do!!!!!

I am a mom of a great one and a half year old son and my parents do foster care and are currently adopting a little boy who we have had since his birth. I always understood that his mom wanted a better life for him and I love my new brother but as a newer mom I still couldn't understand letting someone else raise my baby.... I am thankful to her because my parents have all girls and now they have a son. I also love the whole idea of adoption. But when you are a healthy young lady and you are financially set and you were married and have another kid would you give your 1st born up?

The process would take a long time (6mo). The only other possibility is that both of my parents give up their parental rights, my dad I could convince, but my mom is unlikely. There is a problem. I live with my sister, I am currently unhappy. We usually argue non-stop, but latly its been better. The only thing is, I am not part of their "family" I am just the one that moved in. It's kind of like a flop house, I don't feel loved or cared for. I just feel like its a place for me to sleep & eat. When I moved in I barly even knew my sister, we had never lived together before and it was kind of like a game of chance for both of us. I have lived there now for a little over a year, and I have gotten to know her alot better. I have to say that I truly respect her for taking me in and I love her as a sister but I we really arent compatable for living w/ one another. EX: The other day they all sat down to eat dinner and I came to sit at the table and eat with them and she said that there isn't

I wrote a couple of days ago about my ex getting everything when we divorced. He did it by scatching himself while we were still living together and while I thought we were working things out and then one day he had a knife that I tried to take from him because I wanted his attention, I never touched the knife he accidentally cut himself and then he went the following day and I received a restaring order and was forced out of the house. We went to court and I was ordered to stay away from my kids for a couple of weeks. I am going to school for nursing so I cannot afford to have a criminal record so he and his attorney used that against me by saying if I signed an agreement to stay away from the house and give him temporary custody he would let the charges go. I felt as if I was dying inside. I had to move in with my parents, I couldn't afford a place of my own. Should I be mad, I want him to pay for what he has done to me. He has a house of his own and the kids. What do I do?

Former Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss is she making plans for a legal brothel for women. The brothel will be Nevada’s first legal bordello catering exclusively to female customers. It still needs approval from the Nye County Liquor and Licensing Board, and Fleiss said she plans to submit an application within the next three months.

Would you attend? Do you think the brothel will succeed? Why or why not ?

What suggestions would you have for it to succeed; ie., Heidi has suggested combining a make strip club with the brothel.

Thanks for your replies.

I was married, and had a daughter. When I divorced, I kept my married name, because I wanted to have the same last name as my child. I'm pregnant now, and will not be marrying the baby's father. Would it be wrong for me to hyphenate my new baby's name with my current (and ex-husband's) last name, as well as the baby's father's last name? I have no intention of ever changing my last name, regardless of whether I marry again or not.
