Hi everyone! I just got engaged! So happy and excited! I wanted to get your opinions. Me and my fiance were supposed to have a court wedding because we wanted it simple and small. Now, we want to have a bigger wedding. We want to budget for this wedding but know that we have to save. We want to get married sometime next year. We are thinking of having about possibly 100-200 guests. I would like to have the wedding and the reception in the same area. A beach wedding would be great! Does anyone know a place where we can have a nice wedding that is affordable? We want to try to spend less than $6000? Any suggestions would be great! Thank you!

my mom is messing my boyfriend. she want to do sex with him but he don't. he loves me very much and i trust him very much. my mom had allreadt did sex with him before he propose me.and now my mom is blackmailing hiom. but what he had done with her was just for me. he did'nt want to leave me and so he had to agree with her. and now we are together and he. by himself tell me the whole situation and wants me to trust him and i trust him. but i cant forget all this.i want to put this thing out of my mind but really i'm not able to do that. plz help me. i'm in a great problem. this thing is going to take my life..and make me mentally sick.i will be very grateful to you.
........and due to this all the time i'm crying and blaming myself. plz take it serious. its not a redicule to laugh at. this is what making me to suicide......

So my soon to be mother in law calls me in a panic because her brother whom she hasn't seen in two years (I have NEVER met them and they didn't even bother coming to the engagement party or shower) is insulted we didn't invite his children and all their grandchild over the age of 21 since the card says adult reception. They are insisting we at least have to allow them to have a least 5 people and they are only slotted for two.
My question is- Is this normal behavior? In my family it’s completely unheard of questioning an invitation- and if you don’t like it then you just decline. If you don’t get one- you just think wow that’s rude but won’t dare question it. I think it’s rude and tacky to call up and insist on having more people. Plus I think they are being ridicules because they were even insulted to be told that they would have to wait for a few people to cancel and we shouldn’t have a problem working it out. My fiancé’s mom thought we should just “cancel” invitations to our friends because family is more important in her mind.

Do people start smoking crack while they read wedding invites?? Or are wedding invites printed with special ink that once your touch it- you go crazy?

yes her mom dose still do hard core drugs. we got to go to cort on the 28th how good of a chance will he get to keep his daughter he had her for 6 years the mom never came to get her well maybe once a month and it was noly to take her for a couple of hours. i have been to partys where she says that she has no kids please jsut help me i dont want no rude feed back

i want my reception to be at the ritz carlton in ny and that is the price they told me. i have approx. 350-400 people attending so im looking at atleast $80000. (thats just for the ballroom)(food+drink separate)

theres no way i can afford that unless i take a loan. (a big one--$40000).

is it worth it??

i really want my reception at the ritz-carlton in ny. i really have my heart set on it. i walked into it one day when my fiance and i were in ny and just fell in love.

just looking for more opinions...or suggestions as to how i can make this work.

There's a guy I met who has been e-mailing, sending SMS (almost everyday even when I don't reply) and lately has been calling me up, for 7 months now. He's really nice and says things like "I'm glad I can keep calling you up now", sends me SMS kisses and always checks up to see if I'm already home or if I had my dinner. Yet he has never asked me out! Would a guy do these things to one who's 'just a friend'?

Me and my ex broke up. I feel we have both made mistakes but it has been 1 weeks since I have talked to him. I strongly feel he is back with his ex. (again) We have broken up before and he usually goes back to her. I am fine if he has. But I just need to know that. I don't want to love him anymore but I feel I always will as long as I don't know what he has done wrong. If he is back with her I know he wont call me because he knows I would be pissed. but I haven't even tried to call him since we broke up. Should I calll?
I feel like calling just to see where his mind is. Just to see would he answer to me or ignore the call. I feel it would tell it all and I would get closure. Is this a good idea? I have some clothes of his and I could call with that as an excuse. I just NEED some closure I need to know how he really feels. Does he even miss me or does he really want to avoid me. What should I do? should I call?

I have a friend & he has at least 3 kids of that he knows about all under the ages of 3 & does not take care of them at all. He does not visit them, help with diapers, milk, Nothing not even a phone call.

I am a mother who works 40+ hours a weeks (& so does my husband) just to be sure that we can always provide for our daughter. I had her when I was 18 so I HAD to grow up real fast, & did RIGHT AWAY. When I talk to me friend he is always making jokes about how his kids are so much cheaper b/c he does not have to take care of them. Things like that really make me almost ashammed to say he is my friend. I have told him in the past how I feel about his comments, but does not change what he says around me.

So Is it wrong for me to kick this friend to the curb????

I can not stand DEAD BEAT PARENTS. All of my other friends are aware of this!

I've told her how I feel, but it still causes problems. I'm getting sick and tired of it. I can't talk about things that are bothering me because she's got too much stress from school to try and deal with more. I'm supposed to help her relieve stress, but I can't ignore things that are pissing me off. Every time we fight, he's right there telling her how he wouldn't fight and he loves her so much. Yesterday we were fighting, this morning he left a note in her locker of all the reasons he loves her. Ok i moved away from california last year in december
and my freind ryan keeps having these dreams...
he thinks they mean something and so do i... but what?

heres the dream:
and now i think that it might be a sign. the dream was that i was about 25 or so and i was walking down a street in San Fransisco and i saw this girl who i thought i knew but i wasnt sure ((she looked like you Tay)) so i went up to them and asked if i knew them if i knew them and they said that they didnt know me. and i asked what their name was and it was taylor. i was sooo suprised when i asked if you knew a ryan lewis and you said yes. i was sooo shocked that i literaly grabbed you and started hugging you and holding you sooo tightly and said "i love you tay" over and over. you then thought i was some stranger and pushed me away and then i woke up. but yeah i never have dreams like this one so i believe that it is a sign. I love you sooo much tay and i miss you sooo much.

My husband and I have to be away overnight and my 16 year old son will be left home. We are both high school teachers and the pupils we teach live in our hometown. My concern is that if we leave my son 'home alone' that he might get some unwanted visitors and could experience some difficulty from the 'boy racers' who park in droves opposite our house. This difficulty could range from simple noise nuisance to a forced entry into the house. Even if he was to call the police, policing is sparse in our town and he would not have immediate assistance. For this reason, I have asked a relative to spend the night here and now he feels that it is a matter of betrayal and that we don't trust him. It is not that at all! What do you think?

When my bro in law moved in, my husband became an instant jerk. He went from Dr. Jekyll to Mr. Hyde. I knew in the back of my mind he would be different with his brother around, but hoped he wouldn't change. My husband used to thank me for dinner, and tell me how much he appreciated it. He spent time with me. Now, I go to my favorite places alone. The way he talks to me is awful. When the 3 of us go some where, I feel like a 3rd wheel. I peacefully brought it up one day and was told it was my fault he was acting this way simply because I refused to be his bro's wife and mother. He has a wife back home. My husband started being a jerk the instant his brother showed up. Before I ever asked anyone to help with dishes or grabbing the garbage if it's full instead of piling stuff around the trash can or watching stuff fall on the floor and yell, "Uh Oh!" and walking off and leaving it. My husband tells me to go "f" myself. Is this just a macho thing or what?

I am a guy and I don't have any friends that are girls. Well I did, but then I got attracted to her and things just became weird. I can't manage to see girls just as friends because I guess my male make up won't allow it...How do I overcome this problem. I tried treating them like one of the guys but that didn't work. I don't know how to approach females and be just friends. I always have this anxiety to court them in a way and I do things to satisfy them.

My best friend has been dating a guy exclusively for four months and he never directly asks her out (not since the first two dates) always asks what she is doing that evening or Friday and she tells him what she wants to do ro where she wants to go.He says that he figures if she wants to see him she will just come over and he doesnt want it to be a big deal if she says no. Than sounds like he is keepin his distance to keep from being rejected to me but I never heard that before. What do you guys think?
