I don't have a low self esteem I am a very confident person just don't think I am all that.

You said the biggest reason right there in the second part, you don't have a low self esteem and are very confident. That has more to do with it than you think.

That's exactly how I feel and maybe its becuase of your personality or maybe you are but you have a low self esteem thats how I am. My self esteem is way low but I learned to live with it. Infact to tell you the truth when guys come up to me or tell me that I am pretty or beautiful I just give them an ugly look, walk away, if not ignore them and call them a jerk. I know it isn't exactly something nice to do but I do it becuase that is the way that I am I think that they are being sarcastic or something but now I've learned that when I am told that to just be quiet and smile. I think that if alot of guys think that you are beautiful then you are it could be either inside or out either way it still makes you a beautiful person.

My girlfriend is just like you. She argues with me about her looks. I say she's sizzling, she disagrees. The only thing I can tell you is you should be very happy he thinks you are pretty and consider the fact that he's very attracted to you, there must be something there. Men don't tell that to women for nothing. Maybe you just have to look in the mirror and re-evaluate yourself.
Put something sexy on for him and see what you think of the way you look. Bet your opinion will change.

As these other answers alluded to --- Humility goes a long way. If you don't act like you're all that, it makes you even more attractive. It's a wonderful thing to see a beautiful woman not using her looks to manipulate shy guys.

Perhaps you're charming and sweet and the people can see that in you.Don't feel bad about this, by the contrary you must be happy and take all the good time on your side.In other words, enjoy the free ride.

I'm sort of in the same boat.. I mean I think that I'm a fairly attractive person.. but the women that I have been with or even my female friends always tell me that I'm a 'hottie' ... I think that our perceptions of ourselves are just radically different because we are so used to seeing the same thing in the mirror day after day.. just a guess! :)

Impossible to say without seeing you. However, there are individuals who are "attractive" in the true sense of the word, without being beautiful.
