i wasnt sure whether to be offended or not..but i decided i am....cos if he didnt think i was fat he wouldve said so...im really slef conscious now...[uk size 14] i know i need to lose weight already....

Think he was just pulling your leg (joking). He may not have realised you were going to take it seriously. A size 14 is not fat! It's actually the most common UK size for women. And he did state "IF you are fat then I like you fat"...in other words he likes you the way you are!
If you did break the bed then it's probably more to do with what you were both getting up to on the bed? Or maybe the bed is just old and knackered?

Let this go and forget it hun.

Don't be offended - men are not known for their subtlety and ability to rescue conversations. As I have been with my hubby for 21 years I can honestly say he has said some off things but not meant how they come out.

I think that no matter what he'd have said after that he would have been wrong. I read it as "if you think you fat then I like you fat" then thats cool cos he loves you the way you are....what more can you ask for

He told you love's you no matter what size you are so get over it he sounds like a sweet guy. If your worried then start excercising and eating healthy and lose some weight but it's not his fault you feel self concious, by the way im a very happy size 12:)

maybe he was boasting about your wild sex breaking the bed, dont be offended. Im a size 10 top and 14 trouser UK and well I totally agree with feeling self concious about the bum hip belly region. Yes your bf will love you as you are too. Dont read into it too much he wasnt being offensive!!

hun. listen to me. I am an USA size 5-7 and my bf (when we first started dating) bascially said i was fat. it hurt liek hell, cuase he was a wrestler and constantly was picky about foods and stuff. It got old,so i put him in his place. i dropped about 30lbs...and I STILL feel like i shuold be smaller..so theres NO way he can think im fat. As women...we tend to fret alot about it...and i wish we didnt..but thats apart of society. In your sittuiation. that was kinda a jerky remark the way he said that. I would confront him more about it.

If you feel offended by his remark, let him know, you did not know how to take what he said, about breaking things. See how he responds to you feeling bad about what he said, that way you won't have to assume what he meant. Don't hold a grudge, for it can put a damper on the relationship, so put it out there so you can get closure on something so sensitive to you.

He didn't call you fat, he doesn't think you're fat - you do. What he said was if you are fat (because you think you are) then he likes you like that. Be grateful for what you are and what you have!

No you should not be offended. he does not think you are fat, and he meant that if you think you are fat it doesn't matter because he likes you the way you are.
