My coworker has a really weird relationship. He was married less than a year. His wife cheated on him for several months with this guy. The guy sent photos and phone records to my coworker proving the affair. They got divorced before their one year anniversary. She got nothing because it was less than a year and did not work for most of the marriage. She has never moved out of the house. They are almost dating again now but she is still lives in the house. She actually never moved out and she is still seeing the other guy also. What kind of craziness is this? Why has he not kicked her but out?

Please help. A few months ago my gran who is in her 70's got the 'wrong end of the stick' about me - she accused me of picking my dad over my mum (parents been divorced 20 yrs) I have NEVER done this but it caused a MAJOR fall out. Things are getting better between mum and me now but we didn't talk for 3 months....I still have alot of resentment toward her and gran but trying to work it out with my mum. As for gran, she still hates me. she hung up on me 3 times. I won't call her again as I feel after the way she has treated me for no reason it is her that should call me. She also badmouthed me at a recent family do which I didn't attend because of the atmosphere. How can I forget about this? Its eating me up. I am married with a little boy that she has hardly seen. I feel like I've lost my gran through no fault of mine, but I won't make the first attempt at contact as she has hurt me so much previously...

So my girlfriend of 2 years took an internship in Florida (we are in the New York area so obviously long distance which it has been off and on but nothing like this) for 5 months. Mainly to figure herself out and school. Anyways she's very affectionate and loving but literally soon as she got down there I began to feel shut out (pretty much no affection at all). Thus we went on a break whiles she's down there (mainly her idea). Now we've had a few discussions where i could tell she really misses me deep down but she doesn't know why she's pushed me away and not been affectionate. Now she says she's met a guy down there she thinks she sorta likes but I shouldn't worry because everything down there is temporary and doesn't matter and that I'm the one she really wants to be with and loves. She says he doesn't compare to me.
Anyways I can't help but feel like a safety up here. I'm not even remotely interested in looking for anything temporary. But how could she? How do I deal with this?

Wedding Cake Dilemma!?

Ok, My husband (whome I married 4 months ago and are having a big wedding/reception next may) thinks it is dumb to spend money on a Professionally done Bridal Cake. (he is very frugal when it comes to money, and insists on a GROCERY STORE CAKE)

I have showed him how great they can look and professionally done and he suggests (since I do cook/bake a lot) to make our own for the wedding.

There is 250 days left until the big wedding and I am getting seconds thoughts on doing it because I know I will be running around with a million different things days before it.

He said to enlist my mother in law and sister in law in for extra help on the cake, but I DON'T want to do it. I am getting upeset about what he wants and refuses to listen other wise.

I tried telling him it is going to cost about the same if I make it or not and furthermore I need money and time to practice before the final product (if i were to make it) he is being very unreasonable. What do i do?

This has been my most recent exper. One of my guy friends, who is kinda sweet on me, recently asked me why I would even need a man. Wow. I told him I need a soft place to land at the end of my day. And trust me it would be reciprocated. I want a partner. Of course even a strong woman needs love. My female friends even tell me most men will be afraid of me. Why? Do most men only want women they can control or bend? I am sad about this today. Maybe I just need to accept that it's just not my time or season. Maybe God has other plans for me. Today, this sucks. Feedback?

Invitations have already been mailed for my bridal shower. One of my bridesmaids is now offering to host another shower for me. I'd love to have a lingerie shower, but I invited almost all my female friends to the bridal shower. Is it wrong to have a lingerie shower in addition to the bridal shower and invite some of the same women to both? Would it be appropriate to indicate that a gift is not necessary at the lingerie shower?

My husband is in the AF reserve. He received an order to do a War Readiness Exercise in Keesler Mississippi. I asked him if my son & I can go with him but he said no, he might now be able to see us or even spend time with us if we all go because they are going to do the exercise at the Gulf Port in Mississippi. I still think that we could go and maybe stay somewhere within the area so that we could all be together. How does this exercise work?? How come he said that we cannot go with him? Can anyone tell me or give me some advise on this? Thanks!

Got a single friend shes been single a long time, met a not so good looking guy but is nice and he works out so he is in shape. They hit it off, but he cancelled their next date something was fishy. He finally fessed up he has a girlfriend for three yrs in another state that he just moved from. After that they made out for a while and she let him know she would like to be in some sort of relationship with him even if its friendship. As her friend I don't know what kind of advise to give her. My gut tells her to stay away but I am thinking if this guy was in a three yr relationship and moved to another state with his job then why isn't she here with him, why hasn't he committed to this woman in some way. I feel like that relationship isn't very serious but serious enough for him to tell her about it. What route should she take let it go or wait and see his next move and what if he wants to take her out again?

he says the rules for him were different when he was younger. It involves rules about his 16yr old sister staying at her boyfriends house. He says he had to wait 1 year before i would let his girlfriend stay.. Yes.. cos she was only 15 and i have younger children at home too. My daughter was going to stay at her b`friends house to avoid it being too obvious here and she only has a tiny bedroom anyway. My son caused hell at home, turned his music up full blast, woke his younger brothers, swore at me on the phone and said he wont be paying me any more rent till i change my mind. I will not be held to ransom by him. what gives him the right to tell me how to run my house? My house, my rules. He is much bigger than me so physically making him leave is impossible. This is not the first time he had disrupted the household. He held his sister up against the wall by her neck in the past. I want him to leave.. he is working full time and he is upsetting the family home.. How do i go about it?

"I divorced my husband because I borde and needed varity. I need my own space. Marriager is overrated." They were married for like 6 yrs.

Is this a selfish person? Is she a user? Is she self- involved? Greedy? Did she ever truly LOVE her husband? We he a convience for her? I'm a 21 yr old guy having a hard time trying to figure any of that out in this day and age. The line between selfish and freedom. Is there one? We just seem like such a messy culture. The whole relationship, "love" thing just seem's like such a joke! I just don't believe in it. I often feel I'm too cynical about people, but hearing stuff like racks my brain. What if that was my wife, what would that say about our realtionship? If we even had one. I know everyone is about their freedoms and I can do whatever want, when I want. THE 60's! But has that made us a selfish bunch of people? Love, relationships dose it mean anything?

IF THIS IS A STUPID QUESTION MOCK ME IF YOU WILL. . .

Im 22 my girlfriend is 17 and will turn 18 in FEB and she is pregnant and our baby is due in mid FEB. The law below indicates that a 21yr old that engages unlawful sexual act to a 16yr old or minor is guilty of a misdemeanor or a felony. Dose the court house or district attorney still show intrest in a 17 year old who is about to turn 18 and is with a 22 year old adult. I talked to a mediation center and while talking to them the called sevral people, police station, Attornys, District Attorney office. and investigations and some said that they would probbaly file the complaint and it probably wouldnt be taken any action to it . what do you think would happen?
d) Any person 21 years of age or older who engages in an act of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor who is under 16 years of age is guilty of either a misdemeanor or a felony, and shall be punished by imprisonment in a county jail not exceeding one year, or by imprisonment in the state prison for two, three, or four year

Here's the latest. Hubby said that he will get rid of the dog if I want. He doesn't want to lose me. However, I love him just as much and circumstancially, he offered to put a long run up so the dog will be able to better exercise in the yard, take the dog for a walk when I am preparing dinner to give her more exercise and enroll her in obedience classes for as long as it takes. This is a smart albeit headstrong breed so I am anticipating once we learn what to do, we may have a better behaved animal. BTW, after the exercise she got yesterday, she slept until after 6:00 AM this morning!!! Blissful sleep for us as well!

I mean its like they will use sex for sex and use sex for love and if it is not replied with the same affection then the guy is blamed to be a player or worse a jerk.... i mean the guy is allways the jerk.... there is no way around it, i understand that its nature.

But my question is, if a women is sexually liberated and is interested in sex then shouldnt it be that the emotions that is attached to sex is her responsibilty instead of pinning it on the guy ?

This is my experiance
I find out that women who wants sex still tend to do that `emotional act` i mean women dont go asking for sex so thats the way they do it, i got hurt thinking it was love. whose the player here ?

and at times they use sex as a tool for love when it doesnt work out yet again the guy is a jerk again. Now i kinda understand why guys shouldnt attach themselves to sex, it all depends on how the women feels, no point attaching yourself to something that you are not sure about, its nature isnt it ?
