Tough question.

In some religions and societies, men are supposed to rule the house, but in more progressive societies, it seems that there are less divided roles. Mothers and fathers can work together and have a joined front in the family. This is the way my household works. We make decisions together and set rules with compromise.

LOL in my house, the mother is supreme in the household But I believe it is the duty of the female to stay at home, run the house, the kids and everything that goes with it. It is also her duty to take care of the husband. The husband's job is to bring home enough money to take care of the bills and then take care of the wife.

In this household, if it needs done, you just do it. The whole concept of men/women having certain roles is ridiculous. Kids should grow up seeing their parents share duties. Nothing wrong with mom cutting the grass and dad doing the laundry.

Jeezzzz, y'all sooo young... It's head to head, man, in these dire times. Mom and dad work their bleeps off to put bread on the table for you critters to eat. Get a life, okay. Tell that to those losers in your neighborhood too.

For my family, husband and wife are equals. However, if it comes down to it, the husband has the final say in decision making. .....but we're pretty old fashioned.
