You don't tell them you let them find out. If you make a point to tell them it makes it seem like you are trying to rub it in especially if they are not in a relationship yet.

Maybe if you have children together, but just to call him up and say hey i gotta a new man to rub it in, no. I mean you went through a divorce for a reason and then you usually meet someone else. So it should be excepted that you both will move on

smart girl. the time to do that is after every aspect of your divorce has been completely agreed to legally and is binding by a judge or court. so, if your divorce and property settlement is completely settled, and final, you are free to see anyone. i think after the divorce is final it would be acceptable. women run into problems when the ex finds out they are seeing someone before the divorce is final, and, they may want to get revenge in many ways.

I wouldn't tell your ex until you are ready to introduce your child to your boyfriend.
If you have already introduced your child to him then you can tell your ex whenever it is convenient for you- like a visitation pick up/drop off, etc...
Let him know that your boyfriend is spending some time with your child and if he would like to meet him that you can arrange that at a neutral place like the park or something so that your ex will feel comfortable with your child spending time with the new man and it won't cause problems.

That is a hard one, on one hand he can give u crap if he finds out from the child, but on the other, he'll give u crap for trying to rub it in. I think that u should not say anything until you know that you and this guy are very serious. When u get to that point, then I would say something.

Why would you want to let him know? The less he knows the better. He's your ex for a reason.

What's the point in telling your ex. It's none of his business. Sounds like you want to make someone jealous.

You don't have to tell him, he finds out when he finds out. It's none of his business. That is why you got a divorce to do what you wanted to do.

It isn't necessary that your ex know that you are with someone else.....however if you share children....they will find out soon enough.
