hello, next week i am scheduled to take a vacation. the only down fall is, my hubby is not working. we were supposed to go to atlanta ga this weekend, but now we cant because he has not worked in a month. i really would like to take my vacation & go to the beach, and party. but everything i buy, i have to buy one for him 2. i dont want to go broke because he has no $ to buy anything. at the same time i would feel guilty if i buy a drink or go to a club and he has no $. but its like damn, if its 40 to go in the club it will be 80 cuz he has no flow! do y'all think i should cancel my vacation till he is working?

Wow not much of a partnership here huh? I've been through the whole not employed thing twice with my man he was an areospace engineer and they get laid off quite a bit it turns out. Why can't you revise your vacation plans to do something less expensive that you could enjoy together without ending up broke? I personally would not be comfortable leaving my man home like a child who has done something wrong. I'm sure he feels bad enough about the situation as it is. Do you recall the better or worse thing in your vows? Well here is the worse side, time to dig in and honor those vows and if you really love him you'll do it without resentment.

I think you should cancel it and spend the time going over your wedding vows. I don't think you were paying attention the first time.

I think you should go - right out of the marriage!

It's obvious that you (possibly both) are not mature enough for the responsibilities of marriage. We can't have marriage spoiling partying times at ther beach, can we?

tell his broke @ss to get a job!

i dont know his situation of why he doesnt have a job but it sounds as if he isnt in a big hurry to get one because you are supporting him..
let him know how you feel about spending all of your money on him and not being able to save any or being able to spend a little on yourself because you feel you have to buy for him too.
