I am having a destination wedding. My parents are throwing a huge reception at home (500+ people). Can I wear my wedding dress again? My mom thinks I shouldn't. My friends who are married said they wished they could have worn the dress again and to go for it. Others said that they've seen other women wear their dresses at this kind of reception. Thoughts?

I have been married for 6months and just discovered that my wife had previously had two abortions from different men. She did tell me about these past relationships(One with a single guy, the other with a married man) but did not tell me she ever got pregnant for these men until i found out about her abortions from a doctor where we did scan test. She apologise for not telling me and asked for forgiveness and i have forgiven her though it hurt my feelings because she did not tell me before we got married.
She is not yet pregnant for me but can't get to take it out of my mind that my wife have had abortions. I really want to keep my marriage but the hard feelings is driving me crazy.........I can't seem to get it out of my mind.

He is supposed to go to AA meetings regularly, he is on probation right now, he has been out of jail for 1 1/2 years, and still on it, but won't go to his AA meetings...I know he had problems with drugs/alcohol before he was in jail so I'm sure there is a reason they want him going to these meetings! He says he doesn't need to go because hedoesn't do drugs anymore, BUT he drinks around 3 times a week on average, every once in a while it could be 4 times a week! He drinks A LOT when he does drink too, like he can't stop when he starts. I love him but I'm starting to think he does have a problem. He says I'm crazy and it's ok if he drinks as much as he does....he mentioned me going to his AA meeting with him today but then just called and said he's not going to go, hes just going to forge the signature he's supposed to get when he goes like he always does. Is there anything I can do to get him to go w/o getting him into any trouble? I even thought about calling there to ask lol

Mine would never remember. If you have a husband that does remember, how would you deal with someone who doesn't?

Ours is coming up. Things have been so crappy between us I almost just want to let it pass without a word. But then, that's not me to not do something special. It's going to be 5 years. What would you do? Forget it, get a gift and not worry about reciprocation, or tell him?

My ex just passed passed away on June 8. We had been over for a year but we still talked every day and were going to get back together. Then he ODed on drugs and I still cant get over him passing. I still see him laying there, I still want to call him just to hear his voice. I need help!! I cry all the time and I'm scared of getting close to some one else of the thougth of them dieing. My father also passed away when I was 14 months old and I never got over that but now that my ex passed away its getting to me also. I mean me and him were together for almost three years. I need help so can some one please me understand how to get over him passing. I catch myself wanted to go back and get ****** up like I useto but I know he wouldnt want me to do that and also ive been clean for a year now i just need help.. it will mean alot to me if you guys help me

I met my wife 10yrs ago. She is 44 i am 36. She has a 24 yr old daughter 2yr old granddaughter. She has been married twice before this is my first. When we met she was living in a basement appartment working 3 jobs. We promised each other many things when we got engaged. She was going to quit smoking, she wanted more kids, I transfered my job from the city to the country area, which i didn't wont. Anyway now she has quit all her jobs, still smokes, and isn't interested in sex unless I beg. She stays home and finds things to complain about. I work shift work 12-18hr days. On my day off after nights I usually sleep in till noon. Lately i am acused of being lazy all i do is lay around watching tv"". I am the one that worked 89hrs last week. We purchased a cottage and a second rental house and goto carribean each winter. I know these things sound materialistic but how am I lazy? Its almost like I am only around to give he a better life than she had. DOES SHE LOVE ME OR $$

I belong to a church my fiance does not like. It's not b/c of the word the church offers, but it's...basically, it's a megachurch and it's not her church which is 200 miles away (she moved to take care of her mother). When we were looking for a place to marry she wanted us to rent a bus or two and have our family travel to her church so she could get married at her church and by her pastor. I suggested was we get married at my church where 95% of the people invited live. We started by researching my church and although she was not a member, everything was a go. She asked me what I wanted to do and I made the decision that we get married in my city at that church since everything was a go.

Then when ran into problems scheduling appts. The counselor cancelled on us twice due to being sick and b/c my fiance was working 2 jobs and going to school (and I work fulltime 8-5) scheduling was a headache, but it got done. Then we went through the marriage classes and although she did not...

my friend said that she going to start college with me, but then she said she doesn't know what to do. She keeps saying that the college hasn't rang her and that she doesn't know what to do [well obviously you should ring up] but she's not doing that for some reason. she's stuck between 2 colleges and she keeps saying im her best friends and stuff but also says that shes really going to miss me. My mom called me this morning, she was crying on the phone and wanted a divorce from my dad. They have been married for 30 years, and this isn't the first time she said she want a divorce from him. She said she's fed up with my dad sitting at home doing nothing, while she goes to work. My dad is a computer engineer, he has trouble finding work because of his age, he's almost 60.
Right now I'm stuck, because my younger siblings emailed me to counsel my parents since I'm the oldest. Do you think I should butt in or not?
The whole thing is ridiculous, why would anyone want a divorce when they're that old?

wedding photographers are soooo expensive!!!! At my sisters wedding she had one and my aunt was also taking pictures just to take them, and my aunts were better than the professionals! Would it be wrong to ask her to take pictures at my wedding instead of just coming to enjoy herself?

My wife and have been married for 3yrs, together 4+, known each other for more than a decade (since Junior High). We grew up in the same small town, a couple miles from each other.

For three years, we've had a beautiful marriage. Hardly any fighting. We agree on most everything. We laugh, watch T.V. and movies, make dinner together, go out, read to each other, snuggle in bed, talk in bed until late at night, share dreams. The works. I thought everything was perfect. We'd end every conversation with "I love you!" Good or bad.

She is 22 yrs old, I am 23. We got married young. But we're both mature and have made it this far without any problems.

In May, she graduated college. I started noticing very subtle changes in her attitude towards me at that point, but nothing that couldn't be chocked up to standard moodyness. In June, she went to Costa Rica as a chaperone for a High School Spanish trip. She was gone for 2 weeks. When she came back, she was a completely different person.

I got married in March. And now I wish I didn't. I am depressed, I hate my life here. My husband is nasty. Sex with him makes me feel like I am a cheap whore, his kisses feel like hot eels darting around my mouth, he flicks it all over my body and it makes me want to cry. I feel so dirty. I have sex with him, I don't tell him no, but inside I just want it to be over. I can't shower without him, he stands over me while I shave. I hate the way he looks at me. He says I'm beautiful and loves to look at me, but it freaks me out and makes me feel like a prisoner. He takes ever chance he can to smack my bottom or grope my chest. When we sleep, he is practically on top of me and if I move, he moves closer. He wraps his arms around me and I can't breath, his hand cups my breast and I pretend to be asleep. I am a stay at home mom and have no life, no friends, no family within a 600 mile distance. What's going on with me? Why do I hate him so much when I loved him 6 months ago?

I am not sure what to do. SHe told me first it was friends, then he came over, then, she went over, then they cuddled, then they kissed, then she gave him a hanjob, then he touched her, then she gave him head. SHe would not tell me this but he did after I threatened him. She denied it even when I asked her. She says she is so much in love with me but did not want me to know because it would hurt me and she was never goign to let it happen again. We were playing catch in a group. She is a good friend. I told her I was sorry, what else should I do? She seems to be angry/avoiding me. She wasn't injured but she had a lump on her forehead and it was kind of purple for awhile. She cried a bit.

Ive met a chap who has the same surname as me, our birthdays are a week apart infact he was due on my birthday, we are the same age, his mum has the same christian name as me and we both have one younger sister and they both have one daughter !!!!

so i finally went up to the school (college) to get started......... he said it was an excuse to leave and get away from him!

My friend called and asked if I wanted to go..... I guess I just needed a lil encouragment and a lil push to get my butt there!
So I went... when he called he had a n attitude like i was doing it on purpose to be away from him!
Whatever.!.. Im trying to better myself like Him AnD I want! Then he tries turning it around.... we are having issues with spending time with eachother right now because im always going to a friends to hangout ... he always makes me mad to the point where i dont want to be around him!
So, I have been spending more time (hasnt even been a week)! He just doesnt realize or appreciate it i guess!

We try and try to compromise and work things out... but we are both stubborn and get touchy/mad easily!
We've been living tg 2yrs!

Well.... i guess that sums it up.....
Any thoughts? What should I do? Been through anythng similar??

I am newly married yes and unfortunately I am still totally in love with my ex husband who is not such a great guy and I know that. We (my ex and I) share a child together that he has nothing to do with and left me because of. Like I said he isn't a great guy, and my new husband is. I just dont think I dealt with the pain of losing my last husband like I should have and now I am heartbroken and confused. Please dont be mean guys I am really really sad and it hurts like nothing I can explain. Has anyone ever been there? Sometimes I wonder what I would do if my ex came back for me, I think I would leave new husband and run with my children, does that make me as horrible as I feel?

A few years back, I was kind of ditched and ostracised by some very close friends and that put me in depression for a while. Now that I have come out of it, I find that I don't know how to trust anyone. I want to, but I just don't know who is the right one to trust. I am afraid once I trust someone, he will turn out to be like those friends of mine that I had. Once I think a new friend doesn't reply fast enough to my text, or says no to my invitation for something, I will distant away fromthem even though looking back, they are very nice to me and I don't think they are trying to turn me away. When peiple are nice to me, I don't believe it. How do you know who are the people to trust and how do you know when people are giving you polite excuses to turn you away or that they are genuinely occupied with other things at the moment?
