my husband has just left me and i feel empty we have been together for 20 years and just out of the blue he has gone no arguments have we had previous to this and he wont tell me why he gone what do i do

He has someone else. Only you can now if he really loved you in those years and why he left. If you are really sure that he loved you and suddenly left you (for someone else), maybe that person casted a love spell or something like that. Remember that the magic is real (even it's sounds crazy).
But you should try to continue your life. Don't forget: Love is infinite.

Go into counseling...your husband obviously did not know how to communicate that there were issues. It was unfair to you since now you are going to be second guessing everything about your life together. Talking to someone will help you with dealing with depression, anxiety, sadness, anger and helplessness. Trust me...if someone just up and leaves for no apparent reason and after such a long marriage you will be going through the entire gambit of emotions. Talking to a third party will help you deal with it on a more emotional level..
I am sorry to hear that this happened to you. It's hard enough when it happens to someone and it's only been a few year marriage, but 20 years is scarey.
Be prepared though, you may find out that there is a lot more to the story than what you are seeing. Hence if your in counseling now...when this happens you will be better able to handle the blows that maybe comming.

Whats gone on in his past? Have things been stressful for you both lately? Are you sure it is not some sort of mental breakdown? Is there debt?
Don't automatically assume it is someone else. A man would not just up and leave for another woman after 20 years. He'd tell you , or maybe tell an unconvincing lie... you'd instictively know one of those.
I hope you are ok. This must be very painful for you.

All of a sudden, with no warning? I'm wondering how old your husband is? Could this be mid-life crisis? Could it be another woman? I'm not sure what to tell you. You must be miserable. He must have been miserable too, to leave after 20yrs without warning. Maybe it's not you at all, hun. Maybe it's him. Maybe he's depressed? I agree with another answerer here, check into your financial records. If he has credit cards, the can be clues as to whats going on. If you catch him cheating, file b4 he does ( for divorce). He wont be able to take everything from you. Good Luck! Maybe just ask him to meet you for dinner somewhere to talk and see what he says to you?

my husband did this and there he was sleeping with someone else. I think that is why it makes it so easy to walk away, because there is someone else on the other side of the fence to take care of him. I was married for 15 years. It is devastating. He probably won't tell you, because he is too ashamed to look you in the eye and tell you the truth. Hang in there. You may not think it right now, but it will make you a stronger and better person. id make him tell me why he left me it will drive u crazy until then because u will wonder over and over what u did wrong my husband did the same thing to me we had no communication between us only after he left could we talk about what happened is he going through a mid life crisis maybe he felt smothered or in a rut hes no kind of man if he cant tell u why he left u

Your husband has left you after 20 years sometimes people just up and leave for no reason at all. perhaps he just need sometime to be alone and if you and him are meant to be together he will come home, Please dont worry to much you will only make your self sick

There is a good possibility that he has found someone else. You need to pick yourself up and get a divorce. Don't give him the satis faction of beggin him to come back home. If he didn't think enough of you to tell you why he was leaving, I would explain anything to him either. I'm sorry that you have to go through this, but trust me you will survive and find someone who truly deserves you. Good Luck to you!!!!

He has probably found someone else. Or thinks he has found someone better. Move on while the going in good. Find some nice guy.
