I'm in 10th grade and I just moved to a new school district. School doesn't start until the 6th of September, but since I do X-Country I have to go to practice which started on the 13th of August. Anyway our X-Country practices in the track most of the time. On the other side of the track the cheerleaders practice there. Well when we usaully run around on the track we pass by them everytime. There is this one girl that I think I have a crush on, but I don't know how to start anything. No one on the X-Country team knows who she is except for that shes in 9th grade. I want to try and get something started before school starts, because once it does I won't have a chance (9th grade is a seperate building for 10-12).

I want to go up to her and just start talking, but that kind of seems weird but I don't know any other way.

Would you be creeped out or scared if you were in that girls situation.

And anyone have any other ideas to start??

My brother recently was killed in Iraq(july 26th 2007). Before he enlisted his wife left him, for someone else. When he returned home from basic training they went through and completed all their divorce paperwork. He was under the assumption that the divorce was final. We discovered it wasn't because she was receiving benefits. Apparently she withheld a paper that my brother was to sign, something about them agreeing to take a 3 hour class since they are parenting in different states. So my brother redid his will and all of his paperwork with a military attorney making it absolutely clear, without any doubt that he wanted EVERYTHING to go to his infant daughter in a trust. And his daughter was listed as his sole beneficiary on his insurance/death benefits paperwork. BUT, because the were still "legally" married, although separated and pending divorce, it all ended up going to his wife (ex-wife). When the military fills out the forms for submitting payments for such things.. they don't

So, my husband is a great man and does alot of good things for other people. But I'm having a problem, he doesn't seem that involved in me. And when I say that, I mean he doesn't seem that interested in sex. We have been married a little over a year and he says "if we have sex too much then it will get old". But comeback to that is "not having sex is getting old". We MIGHT have sex once every 2 weeks. But is is usually me initiating it with him. I have had questions before wondering if he is possible gay. He is extremely metro-sexual and manicures himself precisely. What do think could be issue? I believe I am attractive, very physically fit plus I am 5 years younger then him. Don't most men want a hot young wife? We talk about his work and his life in full detail, when it comes to mine, he is easily distracted. What is going on??

Not because I'm angry, but because I don't find belitting jokes at my pets or my expense funny. I don't plan on getting to know him more even though he is interested in dating right now. Am I too strict?

I have very little tolerance for belittling jokes because I have really seen people get hurt by this 'humor'. And my dog is awesome and I love him. Because he is a small half poodle doesn't mean he should be made fun of.

me and brandon were on a "break" for about a week...and we were planning on seeing eachother to end the break the night his dad died. he called me around 9ish (he was supposed to be at work till 12 then come over) and told me his dad had a heart attack and he needed me to come to the hospital. his dad died and i stayed with brandon and his mom and brothers that night. me and brandon slept with his mom that night to calm her down and i spent the night every night till the day after we buried his dad. i gave him space for a week to go play golf and be with his friends and family. we had a good weekend together and worked on a slide show for his dad. but now he is acting strange...like depressed and last night we were on the phone and he said he didnt feel like talking...(it was the 2 week aniversary of his dads death) and said it wasnt me...and that he'd call me later. he doesnt want to make plans...he's mopey and i want to help him...but idk how when he wont talk.
i love him, help!

Im coming to an age now where im growing tired of sleeping with guys when there's no relationship in sight. I would like to pursue a relationship or at least start dating guys properly.

However I dont want to come across as a hussy and have sex too early, likewise i dont want to wait ages either and give the impression that im tight!

I'm doing a lot for the wedding, too, like hosting the rehearsal dinner - I got suckered into that by being a "nice guy." I feel like it's not worth it & I'm ready to pull the plug on the dinner. Lately my fiance has been talking more and more about a female co-worker of his. Coincidentially, his boss just happen to have to place them on the same shift. Also, while he is talking with me, he will interrupt and call his job to speak with her. Even on off days, he voluntarily goes in to work overtime with her. And lastly, he claimed to have exchanged phone numbers with her to invite her to our wedding. Are my suspicions legitimate, or is it just jealousy, Im a little confused right now. Hey All. I've asked one or to leading questions earlier tonight and I've pretty much gotten the point that even though i want more out of a certain friendship, i have to just maintain a friendship without anything more.

Just not sure how to do it for much longer, i have struggled to hold it together this long.
The thing is we are really close and i only want whats best for her, she needs a good friend right now too so i don't want to walk away. Its just we are so close and i can't seem to shake feelings of inadequacy and rejection, and even anger that she doesn't see me as good enough for her, you know the "Your a great guy" line when they won't touch you with a 10 foot pole. It hurts. I feel like if i stay its going to be so painfull and everyone will just tell me to deal with it

I know she cares, and most of this is in my head i just can't seem to shake it. If anyone else has advice on how not to lose my head i'd really love to hear it. Thankyou
