My lil` sister has been hanging on w. this one guy. The other day she called me and wanted to know what I think about having sex on the first date? < now they never went out alone, only in a group> She`s been hinting to me if she could hang over at my house. I work nights. Could be to bring her date over so they could have some private time/ I don`t know, but without me freaking out on her what should I say. In my eyes I see her as my little sister- someone who always looks up to me. What`s the best way to handle this?

My ex-husband is controlling and verbally abusive. Yet, I still feel like going back to him.

I feel very sad because today would have been our 18th Anniversary. My mother-in-law and he both called and remembered the day.

Yet, I talk to so many people and they say that "things won't change and be the same."

He lives in another state and we have a 15 year old daughter.
Our daughter was living with him up until now.

I feel like taking a stand and just saying to everyone I am going back to put my family back together.

Then, my ex-husband defines the terms on which I have to go back - close bank accts, empty out storage, etc. I feel like I will be micromanaged and controlled again.

Yet, I still feel like just pulling up stakes and going back to him because I will have a family life and some security to be with someone when I get older.

What's wrong with me?

OK..... there is this girl at my schoolwho i have been friends with ever since like 3rd grade....but on & off......because she can be a ******* *****!!!!!!
she has like only 5 friends now... but soo many ppl hate her.

I moved into a shitty room in a frat house because I had no options on the fifth payed 460, and 225. A hundred fifty is refundable, but I couldn't stand it and just found a new place. It is month to month, but now I remember them saying to give twenty days notice, I didn't. Am I in trouble or did they just say this so they could have time to find new renters. Is there anything they can or will do? or something I can say to lessen the blow like make up a story or something?

My mom and I do NOT get along. I have recently moved out. Then I got into some financial trouble due to my daughter's father not paying his support. Well. We started staying at my mom's on the weekends while I'm off so my child is able to eat. We have NO food. I cannot get any kind of assistance because they say I make too much. I spend no money on anything other than gas to get to and from work. I don't even see my child from Tues-Sat. Instead of sitting at home moping about everything I have been working double shifts at work, hoping to maybe earn a little more money so I can buy food and go home. I hate having to stay at my mom's when we have our own place. Anyway.. She gripes about EVERYTHING I do.. Even when I go out of my way to do something she still finds something wrong with how I did it. I suppose this is more of a vent than a question.. Anybody else have a similar problem with their mom? I'm rippin my hair out here..

feel like I have sinned because I didn't give them the money. There is this guy that is in a couple of my classes and we met 2 years ago but we never really talked, and now we sit next to eachother in our classes and his locker is right beside mine and he does all these things like locks my locker, and gets in the seat right next to me in class and scoots over real close and if I move, he moves, and he always asks me to be partners with him...and EVERYBODY in our science class says he likes me, and so this girl came up to him while he was sitting real close to me, and said that it was sweet that he was sitting so close to me...so he yelled "NO!" and moved to another seat, and he says that he's like the annoying little brother that I never had....and once when he locked my locker, I told him that I didn't like him anymore and he said "well I still like you", but then I left....so do you think he likes me (I don't like him, just as a friend)

After visiting inlaws recently, I felt there were a few things I wanted to say about how my husband's sister dealt with her kids, how his mother responded to me in a conversation. Some background: I'm a middle class Canadian, he is working class Irish, who has brought himself into the professions (respect!).
I find generally, & this applies to the sister, that Irish parents are very quick to put their kids down in public. They might mean well, 'tough-love' etc., but comments passed sound anything but loving.
Re. the mother in law, we were discussing groceries and food in general, & I mentioned that I tended to trust the labelling, if only because questioning every label would drive me crazy. She scrunched her face & said with incredulity "do you really believe that?", as if to say I was a fool. Again with the put-downs. Being a polite Canuck, I said nothing, if only becasue I was a guest & she was my elder.
But once home, I expressed this, & my husband is now avoiding conversation.

My fiance and I live together. Sometimes I feel like we are being judged for doing that. What the hell is everyones problem? I've even had people have to nerve to tell me that we shouldn't register for our wedding because we live together and "already have everything we need"...we don't have crap....we're graduate students! My husband and I have been seperated since November of 2004. I moved here to florida with my daughter in 2005 we have lived here ever since. I sent my daughter up to see him this past may on a verbal agreement that I have her during school he has her summers and we share holidays but recently i bought plane ticket and he did not put her on the plane and doesn't want to send her home what can i do all i want is my little girl home with me she was supposed to start school the 20th and shes enrolled here, I have records showing that she lives here but we are still married and i can't afford another plane ticket let alone a divorce please help.

He used to tell me he'd always love me fat or thin and he said that it was normal that i gained a bit of weight after having babies... then things started going bad , we divorced and now he's criticizing me.. ha also says i'm a bad mom... i need someone to love me again...
Do you know some way to be happy again...

If your kids feel bullied by your ex-husbands' new gf's two teenage children, do you send the kids' on visitiation? Kids are 7 and 4. I plan on calling our attorney to find out for sure this week, but wonder what everyone thought. Their dad has been told about the bullying and the hitting, but he does nothing to stop it because the teen agers aren't his kids.
