i take it you don't like visiting your father. if that is the problem and you were my son i would find out why that is. then i would talk to my divorce attorny and let him know the reasons as well. i would also talk to your father with you present and find a middle ground. you obviously have credible reasons, why else would a son not want to be with his father?
it's unfortuante you feel this way but if you feel that he is not providing you with what you need. i would let someone know
and that would be him, your dad.
be well and good luck.

You don't have a choice. The visitation agreement goes until you are 18. If you do not go, your father can get your mother into trouble with the courts for contempt.
Next time you are at your father's you can discuss with him that you would like to not have to come, and see what he has to say about it, but unless he agrees, you must go - or, as I said, it can cause your mother huge legal problems.

Basically, you can refuse visits when you can explain yourself. The law does not require that you have to go but only schedules visits when either spouse can visit you without causing trouble, but again does not require you go.

You need to talk to your mom about this, you can call your local court house and ask to speak to someone in the divorce system of how do you go about this, I wish you the best. hang in there.

it depends on how old you are....there is usually a cut-off age at which point you can decide....if you need to find out more about it, express to your mom how you feel about going to your dad's and she should be able to help you...if she doesnt you can go directly to the court (considering you are of the age that you could choose)

I think every state is probably different. Can you talk to your mom about it? She could help you.

At any age. If you do not want to visit your non-custodial parent you don't have to, you can not be forced to go.
