It depends. I really like this one guy who lives in another country. The last time I saw him was two years ago. If you've never seen the person, and it's an online thing or over the phone thing, then it probably won't work. But if you've seen the person once or twice (I mean physically met them not necessarily see them), then it's possible. It depends on how strong your feelings are for that person. The guy I like is really sweet and every time I think about him, I just smile. But, every now and then, I cry at night because I know I won't be able to see him anytime soon. I don't even know if I'm ever going to see him again. If the person you love makes you feel this way, the way that you know it's right and you never want to let them go, then it's true. You can love someone you don't see. It causes a lot of pain though. Trust me, I'm going through it. If you can try to get over it, do your best, otherwise you're in for a lot of pain. Sure, you can fall in love with their heart and mind.
However, I do think you need to have some physical contact at some point to see if there is any chemistry.
However, you can still love them even if it turns out you are not attracted to them physically. Love them as a person, and a friend.

well yes and no ..
yes u can love someone just because u spent sometime reading story about him/her and what he/she did .. u can love someone that u know u will never see like ur dead relative . my self i love god and i haven't seen him .. things like that can be loved for sure . but if u fall in love with someone u haven't seen and u consider that person as ur boyfriend or girlfriend is just silly

Yes you can i did, and he is the most wonderful person. you really get know the person from inside, his tone voice, when you share stories of your life.. you could sense the desire to when speak to him. and remember looks is not every thing so and if he makes you feel good then let happen let flow. remeber the is eye is eye of thee beholder. well if you have a boyfriend and girlfriend relationship then honestly i dont think it can work, yes you can love them but a person needs to be hugged and kissed and touched....i think that if you do have this type of relationship one or the other will cheat...or maybe not but the majority will...
