My sister, and MOH of course seems like she doesn't want to help with anything. If i ask her opinon on anything.. she says.. whatever you want. My fiance can't even think of someone to be his best man (thinking about his dad) or groomsmen. So I'm thinking just not having a bridal party b/c everyone is so uninvolved. Is this a bad idea that i would regret?

Are we trying to EARN their affection?

It seems that women will go to the end of their sanity to give their husband affection and joy, but the man will make little to no effort (sometimes negative effort) to give their wife affection. Maybe a man can answer this...maybe the women can affirm it?

Ok...I have this friend who dated a guy and they broke up few months back but we were talking about how he was a bad guy and all that and the subject of sex came up and she was saying that when eva they did (which was every night she stayed there) she was not really up for it everytime, well pretty much all of the times. She is very shy and gets nervous when confronted and I dont think she would say no even if she really did not want to...she also let slip that he once made her give him head...positioned his 'you know' in front of her face and pushed 'it' towards her so she just did it...now she says when eva she thinks about it or does anything like that with her new guy she feels sick and almost throws up...I said you could talk to some one cos that is serious she keeps saying "but i let it happen". then she also says she cant do anything bout it cos she feels guilty...what would you call that and what should she do!!?? plz im worried about her

Like, I am not looking for smartass answers like when you are in the bathroom, or at a funeral or etc etc etc....

But I am talking about the kinda "weird" moments in the day where it might still be weird to ask a girl out....such as....

-Driving in the car? Can you seriously say that if a guy wrote down his phone number and held it up to you while you were driving, that you wouldn't think it was cute or funny?

-Shopping for groceries? This one I don't think is super weird, but would it be nice if a guy walked up and wanted to carry yor basket or push yor cart becuz he wanted to ask you out?

-At yor job? I don't mean like office jobs, cuz eveyone know's office's are just breeding grounds. But how about if you work at like a customer service place (restaurant, DMV, gas station, at the mall...etc etc etc) Is it okay for a guy to ask out while you are working?

I am trying to find out if all women would rather be asked out at a bar or whenever is a good time? Thank you!!

She's in 6th or 7th grade. But theres this boy that was a senior in school his year who was very good friends with her. He would walk her home everyday and hug her. She started to get kind of scared though he wasn' doing anything. She just felt awkward being such close friends with him. He emails her all the time and she sends me their emails. In one of them he talks about how he missed not talking to her and said he was about to cry after he saw her beautiful ocean blue eyes. Then in one she tells him she's not ever talking to him again because he refuses to say something to her, so he begs her to keep on emailing him or he'll die. Is this guy just really dramatic or should I telll my younger sis to stop talking to him. whenever she does, he keeps on emailing her. I'm hoping he gets more busy in college. She was talking to him to just be nice but their conversations become much to serious and she really doesn't like him. I would tell him myself but I go to a different school than him

I am so ready to cry. We've planned an outdoor wedding in a rose garden with an outdoor barbeque at a park and the weather forecast says thunderstorms. We have rain site at the garden thats inside, but obviously not as pretty as the garden...but at the park we're just under a shelter, but nobody will want to be there if its storming. i can't believe this...i've spent so much money on the barbeque reception.

My 17 year old daughter is taking cannabis. We have caught her several times, we can also tell by her eyes when she comes home. We have confronted her several times, always ending up in big arguments. We have also grounded her several times, only for her to carry on again when she is allowed out. We have suggested talking to a councillor or the doctor, but she refuses. Recently, we have turned a blind eye when we know what she has been doing, but it is breaking my heart worrying about her, and is she going to do something stronger. Should I carry on turning a blind eye to avoid the grief and arguments, and hope she grows out of it, or confront her and take the grief that will go with it. Its not just the arguments, if confronted, she storms out of the house, and I am left wondering is she going to run away from home, move in with some junkies, basically I imagine the worst scenarios possible. What should I do, and is there any practical steps can I take?

i adore traveling, and that is all i want to do. but i know that this day in age we need a degree
i have traveled quite a bit and i only have a year and 1/2 left in college.
so my question is how many people feel trapped, as if they feel like they cant do want they want to because we have to make other people happy.
example when i finish college i want to live in italy for a year. more than likely it wont happen because then youre then set to the REAL world of REAL jobs, and then soon after that marriage will come. i just want to travel. ANYONE HAVE THIS PROBLEM!?

Well, my church was going to a Mission trip to DC and planned it for several months w/ 2 other churches. I was looking forward to it for months until they recently said i cant go.

Reason: They said that the homeless people there will kidnap me, shoot me, or even worse!

I thing this sound like a huge pile of BS.

I mean, my cousins went there a month ago and HE IS A YEAR YOUNGER THAN ME! Also, the ppl coming there this time w. me have ppl my age and even younger than me. The D.C the the USA's capital, so it should have enough police there right?

Thanks for reading my problem and i would like to hear your opinion about this (Plz dont leave stupid comments)

I’m a stay-at-home mom and I’m practically raising my kids on my own, since my husband is working at nights and sleeping through the day. The time he spends with us is max. two hours a day so I have to deal with everything that comes along and be both mom and dad. It was fine for a few years but now I’m just sick of it. I feel tired all the time, unhappy and very alone. It’s like they all have so big expectations of me when sometimes all I really want to do is scream and hide in my bed. I love my kids and my husband but I need a break. I talked to my husband about it and he suggested that I’d go on a trip on my own for a few days. But does needing a break makes me a bad mother and wife?

I've been browsing through some the Q&A on here and I'm disgusted with just how many ignorant people there are out there! If the father to a womans child has been violent or abusive they get told well u shouldnt have been dumb enough to get pregnant. Or if its a boyfriend who's left, it's well u should have waited until u got married! I have 2 children and I am single, my boyfriend was abusive towards me and I was with him for 7 years before we had our first child. He only started becoming abusive after our 2nd child was born, so I left him. I work part time and I'm studying for my degree in Law. So does this make me 'stupid', 'dumb', or just another statistic? Really before people make these cruel comments they should think that they don't know 100% of the story and definately shouldn't be so judgemental towards single mothers! A happy family is a happily contented one with 1 happy parent rather than 2 unhappy ones!!!

My girlfriend is going to Central Michigan for her 3rd year. I have never had to worry about her partying and going out with girls to clubs.

Since we have been going out, she has not bothered to party or go out and drink. I am very clean and straight edge when it comes to smoking and drinking.

She has broken news that she and her friend are going to go to another university sometime when there big rival week is going on. ((most likely to drink with her friends))

How should I feel about this?
It really really bothers me and I tell her that, its not that I dont trust her, I just dont accociate with that. Please Help, I have been with her for 4 years, and I feel that it has been a hidden thing for her. ((she might of missed doing that, Drinking and Partying)

I went clubbing on tuesday night. I saw the guy that I've been talking to for like 2 months now and he knows how I feel about him. Then, I saw some girl and she was all over him. I ignored him the whole night and act like I never saw anything. He knew that I saw the girl all over him. He texted me the next day and asked me if I had fun at the club but I didn't respond back because I wasn't in the mood to talk to him. Did I do the right thing by ignoring him? Is he still interested in me or he is trying to see how I'm going to react?

im following the advises given by the online community to me.. and now, i wanna ask again...

my best buuddy and i were close, he almost told me everything about his life..

his got a gf just last 3 weeks ago, and actually, my best buddy has doubts on this girl.. he confessed to me that he cannot feel his girlfriends love to him...

i told him that maybe he has quite a high standard when it comes to relationship and his gf didnt meet that expectation... was this right to say?

he also told me that he is now tired and his love life is cursed or something... i told him that if he will decide to break up with his girl, they must talk about it.. am i again right about this?

i told him that it is unfair to the girls part if that would be the reason i mean, i know his gf loved my best buddy so much and my best buddy cant see this..

he has doubts from the start, and i dont wanna that my best buddy will be hurt! what should i advised him about this girl? what should i do?

I found out my partner played around behind my back 6 months ago. Well since then we've started seeing each other again & he states he is truley sorry & wants us to be together again. Well i'm wanting to leave my options open & not commit to anything just yet because i'm not sure what i want. I'm chatting to other guys on the internet but haven't had any other contact with men. My ex knows all of this as i've been 100% honest about it all. Thing is i'm just wondering if anybody feels i'm doing the wrong thing?? I just don't want to rush back into a relationship with a man i'm not sure i can trust. Any feedback is welcome. for the record, we were in a very long relationship & have 2 young children together.
