Very hard to know, but if he has not filed for divorce or legal separation, he's taken! I would not date a man that is not divorced, especially if he has kids. If there's any chance that the family can get back together, I would not want to be the cause of the kids home staying broken.

Answer to the first part.... American man shows Love to a woman by applying divorce to the existing woman (wife).
African man shows love along with his other wife
Arabian man shows love along with his 4 other wives.
Indian man shows his love from behind his mom.
China man shows his love only in the bed
Filipino man shows his love by giving all his belonging to the woman and living under her.
Japan man shows his love by reducing his girl friends from 24 to 23. The one reduced is the woman whom he shows his love.
And Finally an European man shows his love to a woman by staying out of her in a bar with pots of beer.

Separated is not divorced. And he will always be tied to the mother of his kids. He is looking for "fun", and you aren't.
