My maternal grandmother is 95 year old. She suffers from dementia and she is causing a lot of problems with my parents and family. Even before she had dementia she always had a mean personality and has verbally abused my mom. Right now she lives with my mom and dad. She really doesn't cooperate or gives my parents breaks to do things for themselves. My parents at this point are considering putting her in a nursing home. There are a lot of people who think putting your elderely loved ones in a nursing home is wrong. What do you all think?

First of all: I have ALWAYS wanted to change my first name.
Next: I just moved a thousand miles away from my hometown and I'm now on my own. I enjoy the fact that no one knows me and I get a chance to start over. In I suppose what you could call a "celebration" I have really been thinking that now would be a perfect time to change my name. I finally decided on "Renee". (It's fitting for many, many reasons). However, my older cousin's middle name is Renee. She and I never got along growing up. (She down-right hates me, to put it plainly). However, my question is...What obligation do I have to tell her, if any? Is this proper ettique? I will have to go home for Christmas and New Years, and I'm wondering how she would feel?? Am I over reacting?

I had a fight with my sister boyfriend because I thought he stole something of mine so I looked in his coat pocket. I didn't find what I was looking for but I did find some numbers and a pictures of him and some girls doing nasty things, Should I tell my sister about it or just not saying anything cause I was in the wrong for looking in his coat in the first place?

I notice some women come in here to man bash. Now I've seen guys do it too but more from the female side. Why do all men cheat, are men messing up more nowadays, he took advantage of me. O.K. Well this is to all the women who throw us all into the same group,

You are not perfect, grow the fuc' up! women (not all) cheat, they lie, they cause divorce, they steal they do all the things the men do, some do it even better than the men. If you are stupid enough to fall for a ration of B.S. some guy throws at you to get you naked don't blame me, Blame him and yourself. This world is screwed up because of both sexes not just the males. Last I checked you lived here too. I have been in some messed up relationships with women who are lying cheating thieving b-i-t-c-hes that I wouldn't pi$$ on if they where on fire, But I try not to group every female into a group and say all of you are the same because then I be no better than you bitter old hefers. Oh well Have a nice day

A lot of people relate their morals / manners from their parents. Do you think people follow in their parent's footsteps? Such as if their parents are together, they feel they should 'make it work' with thier partner because their parents did. If their parents were divorced, they feel their marriage, relationship has little to no hope? Or if their mother was a stay at home mom and the dad was the main provider (financially), they feel this is the way they should live? Or do you think it's the opposite?

I was awarded this money due to a lawsuit that was filed years ago. Once I was given this money, my parents plan was to buy a house, but the problem is: I do not want to live with them, I want my own space. My mother suggested that we can buy a house (2 family) which meant I would have my own space (Its 5 of us parents, 1 brother and 1 sister). What do you guys think I should do? Get my own place or move in a house with them? In addition, this money was awarded almost 5 years ago and since then we still have not done anything? I feel this big guilt!!!

Are men really emotionless & lazy?
Do men analyse every little thing like girls do?
Or can they genuinely just switch off, feel nothing & forget?

I took a liking to one of my mates friends. After weeks of txting, I started dating this girl.
We had 4 very nice dates, cinema, dinner, day trip, DVD at mine.. however, she came on to me about our "status" after the 3rd date, so thinking it would lead somewhere after some very kinky SMS messages, I came out and said "well you're a lovely girl and I think its only right we should be exclusive now". Not wanting to jump straight in, I did the gentlemanly thing and kept it to just a nice passionate kiss that night.
So, 4th date comes around and again after some very flirtatious behaviour, I think she is just playing hard to get... BUT, she stops me dead and nervously explains how she doesn't believe in premarital sex!
The conversation went on hesitantly as wanted I to know my limits, which does restricts me from everything except for kissing.
I said it was ok at the time, even though its not! But she is a good friend of my mate, how do i go about this situation without hurting her?

Child Support/Custody Battle.

My husbands kids are 9 & 12. They currently are under both parents supervision (shared parenting). However, their mom is talking about moving 2 hours away to take a job and fly across the crounty to do training....

This is a great time to take her for full custody, but she has money and so does her family, we are a low income family and still pay her support, what are the chances we will win?

Long story short. My mother passed away last week. My ex husband and I were married for over 17 yrs- so yes I knew he was going to be at the services. I didn't ask the man I have been seeing for 4 months to go because I knew the ex was going to be there. My boyfriend showed up at the wake anyway and sat next to me for a while, my ex glared at him the whole time. As my boyfriend, left my ex followed him outside and watched him leave. I know my ex is manipulative and that the reason he did that was to scare him off. He is confrontational and obsessive. I have moved on and want nothing to do w/him but we have 2 children together and unfortunately he is going to be in my life. My boyfriend is patient and the opposite. (reason I fell in love w/him) I feel that any more of my ex's scenes (this is the 2nd time he's done something like this) might drive this man away. I don't want to lose him.......but what can I do???

I have been in a relationship with a man for about a year and a half now. he has a 8 year old son that lives out of state with his mother. he speaks to him daily and his son spends summers here. His ex-wife is coming to pick up their son this weekend. My boyfriend is taking the day off work to pick her up, take her to her hotel for check in and then take their son shopping at mall. (i am okay with this...) however,on saturday they have made arrangements to get a family picture taken...all of them together...(this i am not okay with) and he doesnt understand where it is an issue. he said they do it every year for their son's sake, that they are a family.....I say they stopped being a family when they got divorced and shouldnt be giving their son any hope of their reconciliation. (which is what it appears to look like) I am struggling with this and need some opinions. We live together and his ex does know about me and we have spoken on phone.

My husband and I got married two years ago and we have a great relationship. Lately we haven't been having sex - he works alot two jobs and that includes alot of nights. Even on vacation he told me he was wanted to have sex but never made a move.
I just think its weird - I haven't gained weight, we haven't been fighting and I don't feel comfortable initinating because I know he likes to.
I don't know what to do I can't figure it out- I also know he isn't cheating on me - (he doesn't have time...).
I have asked him about this and he says he is tired - but he said I should read about what we should do. so I gave him some articles that say to schedule sex if you are busy to make sure that bond is still there. Still nothing..

Any thoughts......
