Cruelty is one of the grounds for divorce under section 13(1) of the Hindu Marriage Act,hence the woman belonging to Jain community can seek divorce on this ground from her husband.

jains have the same rules as oh hindus as jains are hindus. some wrong headed person think they are separate from hindus. hell with those. law does not distinguish them as separate identity
